Howdy all. Another beautiful day in a string of them, we were overdue.
Got all my upcoming bills set up for pmt for next two months. Won’t be feeling doing that, as my long postponed surgery is set for next Friday.
Can’t squirm out of it any longer, dam it. Was hoping for tomorrow but, the woman booked for it (who was supposed to cancel) wound up getting her pre op approved. I’ll say the right thing, good for her

The mr is ‘rewarding me’ by taking me out to dinner, I picked Texas Roadhouse a good hour drive. Looking forward to a big ‘ole steak. Maybe a bit of shopping there if I’m really good, as it’s near the only Kohls in our area.
AJ - need to pick your brain a bit re Jacksonville.
Was considering surprising the GD and driving up to the Bucees in Daytona (don’t ask she’s been begging for two years, stupid instagram lol). Thot since driving that far from MCO, why not just stay 2 nights @ the beach? Yes, any excuse will do for me to get my toes in the sand.
We don’t like Daytona’s drive on beaches, have done Ormond beach. Was wondering what sort of beach/hotels-resorts there might be between there & Jacksonsville? Any idea?
The mr was stationed there back in the day, said the beaches were really nice but, they just did liberty visits to closest ones…no idea if any tourist beach front areas.
Lynne - sounds like fun, you are lucky to be so close to NYC. what BW shows do u have in mind? Looks like you might get whalloped by another storm coming up the coast this weekend.

DiL sneaking down next weekend for a last minute 3 night spring break trip to say goodbye.
Oh this was the fog on the beach the other day, glad that has gone, it comes in so quickly when it does hit us.

Busy day at work. My casual gal has formally received another offer in another department - so that means I'm back to training ANOTHER new person
My theory is when you are really good at training, that becomes your unofficial job.
We have booked our hot holiday. Heading to the Cancun area again for a week of laying by the pool/beach, and bellying up to the buffet or a la carte for dinners. I am looking forward to it.

We call our visits to Cancun ‘land cruising’ lol. We actually do the Riviera Maya, a bit south. We like the Valentin Imperial, area more sedate, adult only (yea!) and closer to the Mayan sites we like to visit a day or two each trip.
Salon appointment tomorrow.....ready for that one!!
