It has been snowing steadily since 7:00. The flakes are really small though, so we haven’t got as much coverage as last week.
Poor B has to work today. It will probably be very slow at Kroger today. I promised her some hot chocolate when she got off shift.
How much did you get? When I was a kid in Georgia we would always go nuts whenever we got a little snow. We would use anything we could find to make a sled.
I’m going to spend the rest of the day stitching. I am almost halfway through my project.
Nothing like coming home to a hot chocolate when it`s really cold.
Are you doing this one as a gift or is it for you, it always sounds such a tranquil hobby.
Charade we had snow coverage on the ground and on the porch.
No snow on the ground now but a section on the porch wants to call it home ….
Once the temperatures rise, that snow will be a thing in the past.
At 3:00 now, only have the lingering snow in our shaded area on the deck.
I could take the broom and sweep the snow off ….but a bit too cold for me.
I am not ready to bundle up and deal with the manual labor.
I rather wait for when ever we get sunshine and just let it melt away.
Oh let it melt mac, far too cold to be going out if you don`t need to. It`ll disappear soon enough.
Yikes!!
Getting a little milder here, we are in double digits although I haven`t actually been out yet, had a nice morning with a friend who popped round for a cuppa, chatted the morning away on the kitchen sofa`s, trying to talk her into joining myself and our other friend on our Salsa nights, but so far she`s not interested. Her idea of exercise is riding their horses!
Especially when she saw me groaning this morning about my poor knees lol.....we did a lot more last night and at speed too which was hilarious at one point, but we loved it.
This afternoon we have our bi yearly appointment with our lovely FA and Kyle sits in on the meetings too which is lovely, we have such fun as our FA thinks I`m hilarious somehow!!! But, we always stay longer than planned, but we get along really well with them. Then Kyle comes back to us for fish and chips from the chippie, tradition.
I have drank too many cups of tea today, but will have one more before we head out.
Found out my favourite nephew and his wife are coming to visit us Sunday, they`re doing the Norfolk Broads for a week, so coming to us on Sunday, should be here for dinner then stay overnight before driving to their accommodation and spending a week with their dog rambling around, can`t wait to see them. Most pubs here are dog friendly, so we`ll find one that suits to take them for a meal.
Yep, cuppa time and the sun is shining, looks lovely out there now, might even wear a lighter jacket instead of a heavy winter coat for the first time in weeks!
Have a lovely Thursday
