I have always thought I was 6 foot 2. That is what I put on my Driver's License. But I haven't been measured probably in 50 years. The Doctor's office usually just asks. I had my Medicare physical last week and the Nurse asked, and then seemed to doubt what I said, so actually measured me. She said I wasn't 6 foot 2......and I said......oh yeah, I hear you shrink with age. She said, well, you're actually 6 foot 3. I thought you looked a little taller than 6'2".

I am just under 5'8". I had a hard time finding the right fit lately. I had spent the past month on looking for black pants for job interviews and coats, I had finally found coats yesterday that are going to be needed for living in the mountains this winter.
I saw a lot of petites that would work for mom who was 5'2" in her her youth. Dad is still around 6'3" and he has a hard time finding what fits him too.

I’m 5’4, DH is 5’11. DDs are 5’2, 5’7, 5’4 and 5’6. My son is still growing. My mom is 5’4, dad’s 5’10. My two grandmothers were exact opposites, maternal one was 4’10 and paternal one was 6’.

6'0". Used to be closer to 6'1" but shrunk a little. DW is 5'6". My dad and brother were both 6'4". My son is 6'3" and my daughter is 5'7".

My choice isn’t up there . I’m 4’11. I"m always the shortest in the room.

DD is around 4'9/4'10, very petite. youngest DS is maybe 5'3/5'4, older DS is 5'4. Kids always tracked on the 1-5 percentile on the charts at the dr...if they were even on the chart.
OMGosh….. you are so right.
I’m so sorry - I should have put 4’11” or less. I’m gonna blame it on the fact that I do these at 5:30 AM :rotfl:

I THINK I’m 5’8” but I haven’t been measured in many years.

DH is just under 6’, maybe 5’11 3/4”.

5’8”. I struggled at the store today to find jeans that reached my ankles.

I’m just under 5’ 5”. I used to be 5’ 6” but apparently, I’ve shrunk. My husband is 5’ 10”, our daughter is 5’ 5” and our son is 6’ 1”.

I'm 5' exactly. Works for me, have no problems with it. DH is about 5'7". I never cared about height when dating....dated people 5'6" up to 6'5" (which did look a bit ridiculous, but he was a nice guy LOL). My mom is 5'2" and dad is probably 5'7". Brother is about the same.

I was 5'7", but at 65, I am sure I have shrunk an inch or two. It happens. Your feet get bigger too as your toes flatten out. I used to wear 8.5, but now it is usually 9.5. The other day at the Skechers outlet, I found that a 10 fit better then 9.5, so I am sure to have clown feet by the time I go.

I’m 5’2. It can be a pain sometimes finding clothes that fit properly, but otherwise I don’t mind being on the shorter side.

Your feet get bigger too as your toes flatten out. I used to wear 8.5, but now it is usually 9.5.
This happens often to women during pregnancy as well. My shoe size went up at least a full size and never went back. LOL, I don’t need them to get any bigger.
