We have 46 days till departure! DH wants to go out of town Labor Day weekend which was going to be my prep time however I gladly obliged and the three of us are headed to Chicago! I just booked that reservation just now so it'll be a nice getaway.

I agree with Earl of Sandwich! DH and I LOVE it! Their Original 1762 sandwich is to die for! It has everything I want in a sandwich! Beef, cheese, and horseradish! :lovestruc

How early do they start decorating for Halloween usually? We were there late August last year and they had started decorating towards the end of my trip, but then again MNSSHP was a lot earlier last year.

We're there 09/03-12th this year, do you think I'll get to see some Halloween decorations? I'm so bummed about just missing the MNSSHP with my dates, but would feel a lot better if I got to see some seasonal changes.
 
I would imagine they would start putting up the decorations after Labor Day -- so after Sept 7th.

When I went in 2012, I went 9/6 - 9/11 and I did see the Halloween decorations.
