Favorite Disney character: Merida--if she is included in the upcoming PW registration I am so screwed

You might as well book that room from now @Herding_Cats because the universe is telling me she will be there!

I have only done MW and Princess. I like them both, but probably lean a little more towards MW because the meetups are more lively.

Sounds like I have been missing out! I need to attend one already!

But there is something special about MW that keeps me coming back. Twelfth time in 2026.

Favourite Race Weekend - Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.

Theme I would like to see - Like a few others I would like something attraction themed. I am drawn to the classic rides, so Jungle Cruise, HM, Pirates etc would be cool

I even showed DH the poster that The Expert shared, and he was like "well too bad for you if it IS Merida! Unless you plan on making a lot of money this summer" (and I don't work in the summer because daycare is cost prohibitive) and also things like "we cannot afford the January week, then another trip a month later, AND the spring break trip!" Which are true statements. So basically if it IS Merida for the weekend, I need it to be the half, do a 1-night stay, and hope that it coincides with Allegiant's flight schedule so I can afford to fly down and back.

I can't say I have a favorite character, per se. And I guess MW would be a favorite if I had to pick just because it's a chance to see people I've met.

As for Dream race......I want a night time race--I never managed to do ToT when it was around. And if not that then I want a Coaster Challenge---where the "challenge" part is to ride one coaster in each park during the race.

Yes to both of these!!

I did the inaugural TOT 10miler at night - 97% humidity in early October. It was brutal. I remember lying down on the metal fantasmic benches (that’s where the race ended) for 20-30 minutes trying to cool down. But I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

So to be fair, I will answer my own questions but I do feel like it's pretty obvious....

Favorite Disney character? Princess Jasmine 4-EVER

Favorite RunDisney weekend? Not hard to guess this one either--Princess weekend because glitter, tiaras, tutus, all things that sparkle.....

Dream Race Line Up/Theme? The cast of Aladdin would be super awesome (duh) -- I would love an Aladdin medal and a Rajah medal. I will hold out hope.

And to demonstrate my love for all things Jasmine, here I am at the meet/greet at Morocco/Epcot during princess weekend, where I stood in line for 35 minutes in my over-patched Jasmine denim jacket because why not....

And while I never chimed in on the RunDisney tattoo thread that @The Expert started, yes, I have Jasmine tattoos (I am at 5 and counting but running out of real estate because I refuse to get tattoos on my arms and legs ).

Boy am I glad this is a safe space without judgement....

1) why would you ask such a hard question?? Umm...Chip & Dale...or Stitch...or Maleficent
2) I've only done it the once, but I really liked Marathon Weekend. If it would just move to the end of January instead of the beginning, I might be able to balance training with the holidays.
3) I want a villains theme. The first runDisney challenge I completed (albeit virtually, because I was new to running and needed to figure out if I could actually run 13.1 miles all at once before committing to an in-person race) was the 2021 W&D weekend. I would also like it to be all night races. I'd rather stay up until 2am than wake up at 2am. Plus, doing a whole weekend of night races would almost guarantee that we'd get some different routes--they can't close Epcot early 3 nights in a row.

Favorite RunDisney weekend? Princess, but honestly, they all have their perks
Dream Race Line Up/Theme? I would love a set of Halloween races at WDW like they have had at DL - and I would die for a headless horseman themed race! He is my favorite Halloween character of all time, and I love him in the Boo to You parade.

Favorite Disney character? Difficult question, but I'd have to say Stitch.

Favorite RunDisney weekend? Marathon Weekend. I like the fact that the marathon goes through all 4 parks.

Dream Race Line Up/Theme? Star Wars. The first runDisney race I ever signed up for was the 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend....
