Can someone tell me about the pet friendly rooms at RPH? Or better yet direct me to photos of the pet rooms? I assume they do not have carpet but what do I need to bring for cleaning supplies if any? What else do they have? Are their any issues with housekeeping? We have reservation for the first week of August and we are bringing a 4 yr old pug and 4 month old pomeranian. They are up to date on their shots so that won't be an issue. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I have read the web site. I am wondering about housekeeping issues mostly. I am afraid they will let the dogs out.

if you click on that link about pet policy at Loews, it does state you have to make arrangements with housekeeping before they will enter the room.

i believe you might have to be present in order for them to enter a room w/pets.

you are given a sign to put on your door that states animals present in the room.

i found the policy regarding Loews hotels and pets.

I'm not the OP, but I assumed when reading the policy before our first visit that your pet can never be in the room alone. I would assume housekeeping will knock so you can let them in, don't they always (well almost always ) give a knock anyway to make sure no one is in the room before they enter any room, not just pet friendly ones.

We decided to board our doggie at home because I can't see him making the drive and having to be basically "boarded" all day while we are in the parks since I know one of us will not want to be tied to the room all day with him, for us it sounds like an ok thing while planning, but I have a feeling it would be a different story once we got there.

aja, universal has the day kennels for guests w/ pets to use during the day.
if you don't want to leave your pet in the room while you are in the parks, you can board them near the park.

they do ask you come and walk the pet during the day you are in the park if you board with them.

you are given a sign to place on your door to alert housekeeping you have a pet inside.
housekeeping can not enter if you are not there.
unless you make prior arrangements for them to be there.

i am guessing if you have the pet in a pet carrier, you could have your room serviced without you being present.

i don't take my pets with me when i travel but i know some homies that drive do travel with their pets on vacation.
