Probably overpaid slightly, but we ultimately decided we wanted a smallish contract like this for our family of 3, and we liked that a) we might get lucky and be able to sneak down in March with those points in holding and b) it’s loaded in year 1 so we can treat some of our more extended family to a trip while my parents can still travel. Excited to become first time owners soon!

I was so surprised that it passed. I was so confident that ROFR would claim my awesomely priced OKW that I convinced DH we needed to buy a BRV as a backup contract. Oops.

Pretty happy about getting a small contract VGF for the $/pt of a mid-sized contract, and fully loaded on top of that. It's below www.dvcresalemarket.com's "Instant Sale" price, too.

Hopefully ROFR doesn't like it as much as I do.

Didn’t think the odds of this one passing were great, so much so I didn’t even come up with a plan for the short-term/expiring points yet. The intended use for this contract doesn’t really need points until the 2026 UY.

Onto figuring out short-term use, I guess. Kinda wishing the seller hadn’t pre-banked the 2024 points, might have made things a bit easier, albeit riskier.

My DH was looking for Bluegreen timeshares for sale, I know, we aren't buying. But he saw the OKW on an obscure site and asked what the going price for OKW was. I said lowest listings were $70pp. They were asking $7500 for 230pt conttact. We offered full price and it was immediately accepted. It was original 1992 owners selling it.

Anyone have recent experience on how long it takes Disney Vacation Club to load points to your account after closing. We are existing members however this is a new UY if that makes a difference.

Title company saying 4-5 weeks. I don’t remember it being that long with my previous contracts.
