Okay, am I jinxed or what? The title company handling my contract had a fire in their offices and they are closed this week.

:scared::eek::earseek: The good news is you will have a great story at the end of this. Hopefully with a happy ending of finally getting this all squared away...
Not much consolation. That is just crazy...

Ummmm wow. On the plus side, maybe Disney doesn't want to bother with this contract given all the issues....

I am using the same title company. Contacted my broker to get more details. Here is the response.

"*** is up and running. Their office building had an electrical problem on Tuesday but the issue has been resolved.
Enjoy the weekend."

If accurate, you may be able to reach them today. I did not call the title company directly.

Good Luck, I am rooting for you at this point.

I called and emailed them again. Today and no one is availableuntil July 11. So, have a great weekend. Let's see what happens next week. Good luck to you all.

At this point who knows what Disney wants or doesn't want. There is no rhyme or reason to their decisions as far as I can see. It's all a giant game of chance.

Just received notice that we passed ROFR on our first purchase. So excited!

OhioJono---$79-$19627-220-AKV-Mar-68/15, 220/16, 220/17, 220/18- sent 6/15, passed 7/8

Update: Passed!
I've been watching yours in particular, because ours was sent to ROFR on the same day. Congrats on passing!!! I am happy for you and know you have to be excited. Now, I'm not sure if this is encouraging for me as in maybe mine could pass any minute, or discouraging in that the longer it goes by I'm wondering why I haven't heard anything. Well, for now I'll keep grabbing my phone every time it buzzes with the latest frivolous emails in hopes that it's the good news I'm waiting for.
Again, Congrats to you!!!

I wanted a visual representation of all the great details in these threads. So I took some time to parse through the data since 2012. It needed a lot of manual editing, and I had to dump a few entries due to missing fields, but here it is. I only have links, I'm not sure how to embed html within a post, if anyone knows how, let me know.

2016 (as of June, does not include data from this thread): https://plot.ly/~bfrantz04/9/
