So true! Title company just reached out and said we will get closing documents today. So hoping we can close by early next week pending the sellers getting the docs in.

Are they international? We're going on two weeks waiting for our international to send them. Title co said they were sending today and should be received in 7 days so I'm really hoping for a closing in the next two weeks. From what I've read on here the broker and title that you have is one of the best combinations, you'll probably close before me

Just received my closing docs....however they were wrong! They had me paying 2025 dues...where the seller was covering those. Back to the waiting game. Not off to a great start Magic Vacation Title.

Congrats! Were you trying to buy 2 160 pt contracts initially, or did you decide to go for more points when the smaller ones were rejected at $95?

It will make my 7 and 11 month planning easier to have just 2 resorts! Less banking/borrowing. Makes sense for us since 2 trips a year would be our very max and usually just 1. I’ll still go visit those beautiful giraffes though from time to time.

I was hoping to do two smaller contracts just in case we wanted to sell later down the line but it wasn’t a must. Staying under my max price per point and either loaded or at least full current UY were my only real must haves. Oh, and “must” be one of my two current UY; I wasn’t trying to pick up a third! But if I’m being honest, it probably wouldn’t have taken any arm twisting for me to overlook that for the right deal lol

DW has wanted me to try for something at AKV for years but SSR prices always won out. I’m not sure I could have survived this time if I started by saying, “my SSR offer was accepted…”

Yes there are, and most don’t reflect they are stripped in the price. Some of the asking prices are amazingly high.

multiple UYs? Maybe not for some, but all our contracts serve very specific purposes, it's not hard to manage at all on my end. And if we buy RIV resale, it doesn't accomplish anything to have it in the same UY as either of our resale contracts b/c none of those points are combinable.
