I just looked for the lowest per point contract on dvcforless and since it was somewhat stripped, made a very low offer. I was completely shocked it was accepted. I don't think it would every happen again. I have put offers on many BRV over the last 3 years and most wanted in mid 90's. Stars aligned for this one and we are happy to finally call BRV homeWhere did you find BRV at $60/pp?
That's fantastic! WL is my favorite. Congrats and enjoy!I just looked for the lowest per point contract on dvcforless and since it was somewhat stripped, made a very low offer. It’s also a large contract of a 2042 resort that was stripped of 100% if the 2024 points at 74% of the 2025 points.Where did you find BRV at $60/pp?
Well shucks, Eeyore. Last quarter a 200-pt BRV, non-stripped, went at $101/pt. This is a great trade off price for someone who wants BRV and is happy with its contract length. It’s also a large contract of a 2042 resort that was stripped of 100% if the 2024 points at 74% of the 2025 points.
Yup, was definitely a better deal than a slightly smaller $101pp with 100% of 2025 points.Well shucks, Eeyore. Last quarter a 200-pt BRV, non-stripped, went at $101/pt. This is a great trade off price for someone who wants BRV and is happy with its contract length.
I'm normally with you, but the market would have to completely collapse for that particular one to be a bad deal.I just don’t like large stripped contracts…. unless I am selling one….
Oh…. I think it was a very well negotiated deal on the buyers part for a resort that has received great reviews since the refurb and has a fantastic 2042 point chart.I'm normally with you, but the market would have to completely collapse for that particular one to be a bad deal.
Is this in addition to the APR UY you got?Fourstar21---$135-$15087-100-BCV-Feb-0/24, 200/25, 100/26- sent 2/12

Found out sellers listed use year incorrectly when received estoppel from DVC. A little extra hassle having different use year than other contracts, but felt it was manageable.
Are we seeing PVB settle back closer to where it was a year ago? That seems like a good $/pt compared to a lot of asking prices out there these days.marmentrout85---$140-$15379-100-PVB-Apr-0/23, 0/24, 100/25, 100/26- sent 2/12
I think it's coming down a bit and obviously depends on how negotiable the seller is. I was very happy with this one, especially comparing it to the VAST majority of all the other listings out there currently. Are we seeing PVB settle back closer to where it was a year ago? Yes, still waiting on Rofr for Apr, hopefully will hear this week. Preferred the convenience of same use year as current contracts, and a backup if first one gets taken. If I get the both, I’ll use Apr on separate visits, rather than calling to transfer points around. Is this in addition to the APR UY you got?

Absolutely! You did very well with this one. Congrats!I think it's coming down a bit and obviously depends on how negotiable the seller is. I was very happy with this one, especially comparing it to the VAST majority of all the other listings out there currently.![]()
My model doesn’t look at the “market price” of subsidized contracts. Instead it observes the market price of standard Aulani contracts and does an analysis on the MF savings that a subsidized contract provides and compares that to certain ranges of prices of on Aulani.I'm curious where you were trying to land this one at, if you're willing to share.
The broker fee rankled me a bit and I might have been able to negotiate the ppt down a skosh, but I was of the mindset that the odds were decent that someone was going to offer full listing price within a few days. Losing out on my uncommon UY+Subsidized+already below market deal over $225 + $1-3/pt wasn't worth it to us (and, if the $1-3/pt was any hint, I wasn't going to try to negotiate down to $110ish).
I don't think the 2025 dues were realistically negotiable, based on what I've learned in the buying process.
The timing of this one was really serendipitous for us. We had just decided to add a new annual ~110pt trip using some of our SAP+ points at their home resort, taking them out of our SAP bucket. Made that decision on the 3rd and were willing to float it for a few years to figure out our next plans to replenish vs. take a leap in points. Then along came a unicorn-to-us 4 days later of around the right number of points to replenish the SAP bucket.
If you're specifically looking for Dec UY subsidized, and not just any loaded subsidized, I think you'll have one less competing bid next time as I think we're settled for now on AUL-S.
We'll know more in May and/or early 2026 about our longterm plans, but it's likely we'll need more Poly points specifically, or take another big leap in SAP (another 600-750). And December AUL-S just aren't common enough for us expect to be part of the SAP add-ons.
