Hi all,

Will be arriving DHS via Uber from VGF on Sat 11/9 (long weekend ) - hopefully by 8:30 for Early Entry. Just 2 of us and will have 3 other attractions pre-booked for LLMP. We're on the fence about Rise (I've does it a few times but my guest has not) and unlikely to pay for LLSP. If we're there by 8:30 and go direct to Rise, how long will we likely have to wait in line, and how long does the ride take? Alternatively, if we wanted to do single rider does that skip the pre-show, and if not would we be together in line throughout the pre-show, and then get separated for the remainder? Many thanks!

Single Rider at RotR was something they tried earlier this year but is not always offered. We were there in August and single rider was not an option. If it is offered, guests miss a lot of the pre-show and a big portion of the experience.

Also, you will want to arrive earlier than 8:30 if you wish to have a shorter wait for RotR - if it is running. RotR is a ride that has a history of not being ready to open when the park opens. There are a lot of unknowns about that ride.

If DHS opens at 8:30 I would recommend arriving at 7:30 to be towards the front of the RD crowds. I would plan on a wait time of 30 to 40 mins even at rope drop. The ride itself has a run time of approx. 18 mins from the time you begin the first part of the attraction.

They've been experimenting with the single rider line for Rise. Here's a recent article describing the latest change: https://blogmickey.com/2024/10/rise...rider-now-utilizing-full-pre-show-experience/

Thanks for the info, we fly in the night before and have a late dinner reservation at Narcoosees, thus not planning on arriving that early (by the way, are Ubers let in that early?). With the single rider line seeming to be inconsistent we may just pass. Just not worth the 2-hour commitment in my opinion (arriving an hour early, plus another hour of combined wait time/ride experience). This is a short girls weekend trip with only 3 1/2 days of park time, thus trying to maximize attraction time. I’ll ask my friend if she has a strong interest. If so, maybe we’ll just pay for LLSP. Personally, I’ve done it a couple times and enjoyed it, but don’t feel I need to do it again anytime soon.

Uber enters where the buses enter so yes, they would be able to enter.

Any more recent experiences with the Single Rider Line at Rise? Is it offered more consistently now? Are they still experimenting with entry points? Trying to plan to DHS day and have not yet ridden this attraction so I don't want to miss any big chunks of the preshows. I am solo and not at all interested in paying $20+ or waiting in a line longer than 20 minutes. I will be there the last week of January.

I was there in Dec 2024. There are CMs holding signs for single rider. No pre show, also no more “backstage” area, you’ll be sent to the room right after the pre show ends and be in the “solo spies” line. It moved fast.
