Any recent experiences with DDD? Haven't used them since 2023. Seems like the last time, all of their groceries were double compared to store cost, plus they have a delivery fee and they ask for a tip.

$14 for a case of $6 Costco/Sam's water. A bag of chips at Publix is $5 and they wanted $9. A 12-pack of soda is $7 at the store and they want $13.95. Just as an example. They seem to have some kind of partnership with Donut King. They want $25 for 6 large donuts that would cost me $12 in store.

It seems that mentions of Dizzy Dolphin here and on the regular Disney Resorts board are rare and mostly say they're too expensive. I'm seeing more positive reports about delivery from Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Publix, along with a few others, lately.

I do feel the direct pricing is better, however not all items we want can be purchased from the same place. We are very particular about water. We only drink Costco or Ozarka bottled water. However, where that water is sold, we cannot get basic grocery items.

I wonder how we can go about getting the water we want and basic grocery items from those stores?

I am guessing Instacart, if they go to multiple places, the pricing becomes about the same as a grocery delivery service?

I looked at Kroger's info about delivery, and I think they said it would be delivered by Instacart. The reason I'd looked into Kroger was that I thought Instacart was too expensive and that perhaps Kroger would be cheaper. But now I'm confused!

I looked at using DDD several years ago, but went with Garden Grocer instead and have been using them for many years now. Already have my order placed for later this month.

I highly recommend you look at Magical Vacation Services. They are top-notch. Amazing customer service. Scott replies to all emails and does everything he can to take care of you. They are very transparent about their pricing structure. You pay what the store charges and a delivery fee....you can add a tip if you would like.

One thing I do not care for about Dizzy is they insult the competition to sell themselves. And, their prices are ridiculously high. We stopped using them a few years back because we just could not justify the mark-up. Some of the items from the grocery store were priced higher than buying them in the Disney hotel gift shops.
