Resale Broker

Yeah I guess it would just depend, if the price per point is low enough, might be best to just put offer rather than kick myself later. I liked buying a "hot deal" because I'm not really big on negotiating, just give me a good price straight out and I'm good 😀
yes, negotiating takes a lot of energy. waiting as well

Just FYI, in terms of DVC , I've never seen a resale listed as "Hot Deal" that was actually a hot deal. Most of them, stripped to the bone, might be better described as a hot mess.

Professional seller tends strip to the bone to cash in the value of the contract. For who just don’t have enough cash in hand, it’s not to bad to enter with a low upfront cost, just to think it in a good way.
But I agree hot deals still have room to negotiate. That’s how brokers make money.

Oh so even if it said hot deal, I could have still bargained? It's worded in a way that the buyer set the price and that's what they'll sell for. Wouldn't a seller stripping the contract make it harder to sell?

Just checking to see if https://****************.com is on the list. They have been extremely easy to work with, low closing cost (compared to other brokers), and the contract automatically went to Mason Title. In the past 10 years I’ve purchased two other excellent contracts with https://www.fidelityrealestate.com and another with https://www.dvcstore.com. I’m happy with all three of these brokers. That said, when I sell https://www.dvcresalemarket is my go to broker. 😁

I think any/all have made mistakes at one time or another, just that some make less often, but I wouldn't choose any broker over another if the contract I want is somewhere else. It's all about the contract, not the broker... to me at least.

All the brokers I've worked with have been great: dvcresalemarket.com , dvcstore.com , dvcbyresale.com , and dvcsales.com.

Out of those I think dvcsales.com might actually be my favorite as it's all done electronically....we're currently in process for our 2nd contract though them and I've never had to even talk to anyone on the phone! Although, now that I think about it, I also haven't had to talk on the phone with anyone over at dvcbyresale.com either for another contract we currently have in process.

As others have said, the title company handles most of the work, and I felt that magicvacationtitle.com was a bit less proactive with providing updates along the way compared to masontitle.com and dvcclosings.com .

That seems like a bold move to use Disney in their url.

I've never seen that site before but $/pt on some of these looks really nice.
Only two active listings. Makes me wonder if the pending or sold ones are real or maybe fillers to show they “hey! Look at everything we’ve sold.” No way to prove one way or another.

I never thought about it, but you're right. lol

There are 3, but that is annoying as heck to have to use filters just to see a bunch not available.
