Questions about renting OUT your points

Thanks guys, I am talking about renting them out to non-DVC members and looking back at the thread I was reading, it is titled transfers so that is probably where I got calling MS from.

For renting out the points, would I need to know the whole party's information at the time of booking? If memory serves me right, I would be the only one who would be able to change the party.

You would be the only one who could change the party, yes. I just found it easier to have all the info handy when making the reservation and booking it directly in their name, with the person paying for the reservation as the primary name. Though on one reservation, I did have to go back in and correct the spelling on one of the kid's names.

If you book the reservation in YOUR name first, you will need to call Member Services to change the name of the primary guest (guest #1)

Hey SeanW - I see you 'liked' my post with my generic Rental agreement. I'm just about to put up a new version on DropBox - look for it in about a half hour. I made a couple of tweaks to it based on a couple of questions from a past renter.
