Pools at Disney's Contemporary Resort

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the two main pools at Disney's Contemporary Resort in terms of depth. I have an 8 year old and a 5 year old. Is there a large area of the feature pool that is less than 3 feet deep? Also, how deep is the pool that the 17 foot waterslide empties into? My children are able to swim but prefer to be able to swim in an area of the pool where they can stand. Thank you!

I know that the Bay Cove pool is zero entry and that both pools have kids life jackets

I think it is between 4-5 feet deep by the slide

I googled "Disney Contemporary pool pics" and found one pic of the feature pool next to the slide that is marked "3 ft 4 inches." A pic from the other side of the pool closest to the water is marked "3 ft." The round pool is marked "3 ft to 5ft."

If you're staying at the Contemporary Resort, you aren't allowed to use the Bay Lake Tower pool. BUT if you are staying at Bay Lake Tower, you are allowed to use the Contemporary Resort pools, in addition to the BLT pool.

We were just there 2 weeks ago. The main pool is 3'. It's about 3.5' near the slide. It was much to shallow for myself and my teen dd to swim. There is a new splash area for the littles. There is no zero entry. We love the CR, but the pool area is lacking.

We didn't go in the bullseye pool.

Just about the only pool at WDW that is suitable for swimming is at the S/D. They have a nice lap pool. It's almost impossible to really swim at the resort pools.
