Lots of US establishments have come over to the UK, but I've been waiting for years for the Earl to hop over the pond. Not happened yet thoughEarl of Sandwich is quite the oversight. It's the best place at DS!
Yep, I think that’s what we’ll have to do. I’ll still have to leave some out, because the limit is 10.I like jimmymc suggestion - separate high end & casual...
We love Raglan Road, especially for weekend brunch and dancers!
Surprised there isn’t one over there.Lots of US establishments have come over to the UK, but I've been waiting for years for the Earl to hop over the pond. Not happened yet though![]()
It's not the UK, but there's a location at Disneyland Paris. They don't have my favorite Thanksgiving sandwich for obvious reasons, but it is still delicious.Lots of US establishments have come over to the UK, but I've been waiting for years for the Earl to hop over the pond. For a poll, I would separate them into high end vs casual restaurants. I split them by a combination of price and atmosphere. Some of these are open to debate or I haven't been to them.
I'd take out #2, Maria and Renzo's, #8, The Edison. #4, Paddlefishwould be on the margin.High end:
We need to knock one of these off. Post below which one you would think makes the most sense to NOT be on a top/best list.

TBH, I'm not sure that I agree with your classifications. i.e. no way would I consider Paradiso 37 "high-end", and Raglan Road may be casual in atmosphere, but food quality is much closer to the food on the "high-end" list than it is to most of the "casual" list.Ok, its time to start narrowing these down...

Need to knock these down to 10, so post what you think should be removed.

But to answer, I would 100% remove Paradiso 37 and probably also Terralina from your "high-end" list because I would put Raglan Road on that list (especially since Cookes of Dublin is already on the "casual" list anyway). And then remove The Marketplace, Sprinkles, Enzo's Hideaway, Splitsville, Blaze, and I guess maybe Planet Hollywood from your "casual" list.
Such as??Why not use Disney’s categorization of eateries and simplify your work?
But is the food good? It's been a few year since I've been there, so I don't know if they've made improvements, but I wholeheartedly agree with removing Paradiso 37 from your high-end list. The quality of the food notwithstanding (it's sad and disappointing), any restaurant that hands you a greasy, laminated menu has no business calling itself "high-end."
