Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Depending on the type of ticket you may be able to keep bumping the days farther out since you can modify LLMP to another day in the app.
You are able modify a LLMP and/or LLSP to a different day within your visit / trip. You purchase them for a specific day. You are able to modify the park and the specific attraction selection on the same date. To modify to another day you need a valid ticket for that day and you may need a park reservation.

If there is a price difference you will be prompted in MDE for the higher priced park but if the price would be lower you don't get a partial refund of the difference. MDE is not setup for processing refunds of any transactions.

ETA: Attempt to clarify modifying LLMP and/or LLSP to another date...

You can definitely modify LLSP to a different day. I just did so this week.

You CAN modify the LLMP to another day during your trip. But since I'm not going to Orlando at all this weekend, I will have to forfeit them.
That is what I was attempting to cover in my post in reference to @traveler9's post above but I failed and my post was not clear after your response and @traveler9's more specific reference. I will update my post to reduce confusion for others following the tread. Thanks.

Yes if you are wanting to modify during your vacation it works just fine for LLMP and/or LLSP selections with the potential of a price increase.

In this situation it almost becomes similar to "Walking" a DVC reservation over a period of time if not just rescheduling for a couple of days within your visit / stay.

For Dated tickets you are limited to the dates of your ticket. Easy to manage and understand. For Undated tickets or AP ticket holders it is more restricted. You will need to keep making a Park reservation unless it is a "Good to Go day" and then you are limited to a 3 day moving window. And there is very little room for error.

I leave foe wdw monday and am soooo confused about the llmp. Can I pick all three rides from home before my trip or do I only pick the first and have to wait until that is used before booking the others? Also, I have to say it is ridiculous the ride tiers,

Yes you can pick all 3 and make 1 purchase. If you are staying on-site, you able to purchase up to 7 days before you arrival for your lenght of stay up to 14 days. If you are staying offsite you have a 3 day pre-purchase window.

What type of ticket's do you have?

I heard that people who bought LLMP before Premier Pass came out were unable to get refund, that Disney stuck to the fine print that the purchase is final. I guess if you get told no you cold keep trying to call back and get somebody else. Unfortunately these things are not very consistent. If you try let us know how it went.
Do you mean after PP came out? Because reports had consistently been people who asked before got refunds, they could even chat for a refund.

I did the chat earlier and was told that the sale is final and the money expires on the day of the LLMP. So no, I can't keep the credit for a future purchase. Luckily I didn't buy the PP lol.
That is so disappointing. Let us know if you try calling.

thank you Dave. We have hoppers,
OK then you can pick up to 3 LLMP selections per day and since you have park hoppers you purchase for 1 park and then when you use your first LLMP of the day you can able to book LLMP selections in another park.

As an AP you do not need a park reservation to purchase LLMP/LLSP. You just can't choose any arrival windows before 2pm if you don't have a reservation.

If I purchase LLSP for Guardians, do I still have to get in the queue? Thank you!
There is an LL queue and a virtual queue. The LL queue should go much faster than the virtual queue line. That’s how it’s supposed to work and usually works. If the ride goes down though, sometimes that can make the LL queue get backed up.

So even though I purchase a LLSP for Guardians, I still have to join the virtual queue at 7am? I didn't mean the actual line at the ride, but that is good to know as well. Thank you!

No. You do not have to join the Virtual Queue to use your LLSP.

There are two physical lines (queues): the Lightning Lane and the Virtual Queue line. If you buy an LLSP, you use the Lightning Lane line at the time you select. If you join the Virtual Queue, you use the Virtual Queue line at the time your Boarding Group is called.

Only if you want to ride twice (we always do it's a great ride). You can join vque at 7 and ride it that way when you're called and/or you can purchase for a specific time and ride that way. Typically the line you get in when you purchase should be shorter than vque side, but we have had a few walkons with the vque side, so not always.

Sorry. It can be confusing. I was just meaning there is still a physical line for LL once you get to the ride. You don’t need a VQ for this LL line.

There is a separate physical line for the VQ line.
