Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

For LLSP, we have to select a time correct? Also, is it easier to choose a time for a smaller party than a larger party? For example, there will be 7 of us riding. Do times differ depending on party size? Thank you!

Yes you need to decide the 1 hour time frame that you are going to ride your LLSP selection.

If you book early it does not matter. If you book later there may be times where there are not return windows for a group of 7 while it is relative easy for groups of 1-2. There is no way for you to know other than trying a smaller group if you can't get a return time for your larger group.

Do times differ depending on party size?
No unless the return window you want to book is almost booked. It is like making a dinner reservation where you are trying to insert groups of different sizes within a single hour.

It just wouldn’t go to the page to purchase. More than likely because I was flying to FL. It finally worked after an hour but I could only get afternoon to evening times for the rides I wanted. Not sure I want to buy it. Ugh

I have LLMPs for this weekend, but unfortunately I won't be able to go. Can I change them to different dates? My next trip is in late December.

Thanks.

I heard that people who bought LLMP before Premier Pass came out were unable to get refund, that Disney stuck to the fine print that the purchase is final. I guess if you get told no you cold keep trying to call back and get somebody else. Unfortunately these things are not very consistent. If you try let us know how it went.

Officially they are Nonrefundable and nontransferable. You can switch parks on the same dates and if there is a price difference and the park you are switching to is higher price you will be charged the difference.

With that disclaimer out of the way, Guests have had success using the Chat feature in MDE or by calling 7 AM - 11 PM, 7 days a week at 407-934-7639.

The Chat function is found on the Main menu: lower right Icon on MDE screens. 3 horizontal lines (also referenced as the hamburger button). Scroll down past the tiles on the top of the Main menu until you see the "Chat With Us" link.

My trip starts on 12/7 but according to MDE I can purchase multi-pass and single pass in 2 days. (That is based on the calendar being blue and clickable through 12/5 today.) That is 3 weeks before the trip. Does that mean I can select my rides at that time or just purchase the passes and 7 days before the trip I can select the rides?

I did the chat earlier and was told that the sale is final and the money expires on the day of the LLMP. So no, I can't keep the credit for a future purchase. Luckily I didn't buy the PP lol.

Sorry :( Maybe try calling. It’s a frustratingly aggressive policy. I’d try calling and attempt to reason with them. Do they really want everybody waiting to last second to purchase anything, when they’ve created a system that intentionally rewards advanced planning? Seems at odds with each other, setting up a pathway to major dissatisfaction. Party tickets say no refunds but they let people move dates, which seems reasonable.

I have the same question.

You are able to purchase on November 30th, 7 days before your December 7th arrival. You can't purchase before.

The Calendar function always shows a 21 day rolling calendar since it it possible for guests to book for up to 14 days of LLMP and/or LLSP seven days before their on-site stay. A total window of 21 days.

The calendar is blue and clickable for everyone through December 5 today. You don't even need to have tickets. The calendar always shows three weeks out. That doesn't mean you can buy your LLMP/LLSP three weeks ahead of time. If staying onsite, you will be able to buy LLMP/LLSP seven days (one week) before your check-in date. If staying offsite with dated tickets, you can buy LLMP/LLSP three days before the start date of your ticket. If staying offsite with undated tickets or an annual pass, you can buy LLMP/LLSP three days before the park day you are buying for.

I would call, I posted the phone number earlier in addition to the Chat suggestion. Did you share with the CM that you are asking for a refund due to your travel plans changing due to the possible Hurricane vs just wanting to reschedule until your late December visit?

Yes I know I mentioned the official policy but as with anything Disney you are going to get different answers based on the CM you contact.

Depending on the type of ticket you may be able to keep bumping the days farther out since you can modify LLMP to another day in the app.

This is a basic question that’s probably been covered, but I don’t remember. When I’m ready to book and select my park and the guests, do I then click the three attractions I want, and MDE presents me with times for all three? Or do I click one attraction, choose a time, click second attraction, choose time, etc., and then have what’s left of my five minutes to rearrange them (maybe)?

You are able to select up to 3 attractions and then when you press "Continue" in the LLMP process your 3 selections will be assigned return times by the MDE tool. Then you will see the 5 minute timer at the top of the screen which indicates how long you have to "Modify" your 3 selections return times.

If you don't complete the purchase step within the 5 minute hold item then your 3 LLMP attraction times are released and you will need to start the process over.

Does that make sense?
