Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

THANK YOU SOOOO much!
Yes, it alll made sense to me!
So, I will book Frozen and do Remy standby since we plan on RD and not have to run to Pixar. Thank you.

I also thought I paid for all the days in once transaction so this is also so helpful that it is day by day that I pay.

Yes, with my bff we plan on RD so I do want to maximize our FPs so will start early in the morning.
We arrive next Thursday so I'm hoping I get what we want since all that arrive on Sat/Sun for the week will have already made their selections.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write it all out. It is helpful and I appreciate it.
What Dave said. The only reason I used the plan I did was because we were staying at the Grand Floridian so we were coming in from the front via monorail. Thus Remy was not feasible for us to rope drop. But there’s absolutely no reason to buy LLMP as a guest coming in through the IG imo, as long as you are there 1 hr before Early Entry starts (which is trivial to do because you can just walk) you can very easily walk straight onto Remy and hit Frozen second with low waits. I haven’t rope dropped the IG since Test Track has been down for reimagining but I regularly knocked both those rides by official park open with no problems. I don’t think you’ll see no waits for Frozen with TT being down because Frozen is now what everyone coming from the front will be hitting first, but it’ll still be better than later in the day. Good enough that LLMP is not worth it.

This is so helpful. I will use Frozen as my Tier 1 since I'm still going to purchase and then not stress.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this all out for me.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I wouldn't know where, in this 200+ page thread. When you use any of your LLs, do you then have access to another Tier One LL in another park?

Yes once you tap into one of your initial LlMP selections you unlock Tiers in any Park and Multi Park access to any available LLMP attraction.

Hi.

Tomorrow is my FP day.

For MK I want to do:

Tiana
Haunted
Pirates

ILL for 7DMT and Tron

What order to you suggest I book above?

Tron
7DMT
Tiana
Pirates
Haunted

Does above seem about right? Park opens for all at 8 am and I want to start my FPs for 8 am.

Thank you so much.

You should start with Tiana since it is what everyone wants for some reason but it often struggles with staying up all day. Then Tron & 7DMT since they often sell out up to a couple of days in advance.

Haunted is more popular than Pirates so swap those around.

Have you practiced geeing to the LLMP and/or LLSP day on the calendar and practiced toggling the 4 parks open in the list? And most important "Scroll down" to the Continue button. Y

es you can get that far today. You can also see if everyone in your travel party is listed and confirm that their ticket entitlements allow booking LLMP and/or LLSP on Friday.

I have a question- we plan to buy LLMP before the Christmas party we are attending (we have hoppers). We'd like to knock out a few rides before the party to free up time.

We can book 7 days out. Would you choose Jungle Cruise (Jingle), Peter Pan or Tiana for Tier one to get a pass for? I'm not sure if lines are long for these during the party.

Then tier 2 I suppose we would do HM and either Pirates or Winnie the Pooh. We plan to buy Tron.

Thanks! Just doing something to keep my mind off the awfulness of today. :(

Thank you.
I'll move those around. I come in on a Thursday so I'm hoping I can get what I want because people will be coming in earlier in the week.

When I scroll down to see my party, it just shows everyone in my Friends and Family and just says not eligible. Is this correct?

Would you suggest I just take the times given and then modify after all my days are done (I'm there for 9 days).

Thank you.

tbh this seems like a profound waste of money to me essentially buying LLMP for the couple of hours you’ll be there before the party starts. Skip it entirely unless you’re going to another park that morning and hopping in. Tiana’s standby line opens up before the party, jump in then bc it’ll be the lowest wait you see for it all night unless you catch the parade right where it kicks off in Frontierland and make a beeline for Tiana’s. Peter Pan was a posted 20 min wait towards the end of the Halloween party we went to on 9/22 and ended up being a walk on. Ditto Pooh. Jungle Cruise never sees long lines at the Xmas party even with the overlay, that side of the park tends to be dead in general during Xmas parties from my experience. Same w Mansion. Really the only thing I would do is pay for Tron before it starts, if it’s a must do. That line was ugly all night when we went.

Thanks.

It's not a waste of money to us as we can get there around 3 and knock out a few big rides so we can spend actual party time meeting characters, watching parade/show/fireworks, eating the food and having a relaxing, fun evening.

I don't think there is much chance you get those in that order if you're booking 7 days out. I was there 10 days ago and got Tron at 9 at 11 days out. I'd suggest you have what you posted as your ideal, but be prepared that it may not be available for quite a while.

Thank you very much. I came back on here this morning to see if I needed to know about any other information and saw your post.
I logged in at 7:00 am and got everything I wanted and times I wanted but for next Thursday, I messed up with Tiana.

I had Tiana for 9:00 am and thought too early because I didn't want to start my morning early and possibly getting wet and wanted to move to about 11 am and by the time I did that, it moved to 3 pm. WWWAAAAAAA

I should have kept as it was and then modified, I even remember Molly saying fiddle-faddle later, and forgot all I learned LOL

I'm fairly confident I can get Tiana moved earlier as it gets closer but will keep trying to modify this week and figure
the days prior to the day of, I may be able to fully have it for the time that works excellent for me. 3:00 pm is still good, but we had hoped to be leaving about that time to head back to BWVs, rest and go out for the evening. This may just extend our time another hour or so but I'm thinking I will be able to modify to a better time.

I loved being able to take care of these prior to our trip. The only negative is paying but I love I am entering MK with five big attractions all booked as well as Epcot and MGM. For AK, I'm just going to use the deluxe after hours and the DVC Moonlight Magic.

Thank you.

Were you able to book an ILL for both Tron and Mine Train? I thought you could only book one at each park per day?

Yup.
I have Tron for 9:25 am and Mine Train for 10:25 am

I arrive next Thursday. For Friday, October 18, I have for a 7:30 am (well 8:00 real opening) for MK:

8:35 am Haunted
9:25 am Tron
10:25 am Mine Train
11:15 am Pirates
3:00 pm Tiana

Tiana is what I need to change to earlier and that was my mistake. I originally had for 9 am.

How many minutes prior to a FP can I tap in? Five minutes?

Thank you for the advice regarding Tiana’s! Didn’t even think of that. I had wanted to do Tiana later in the evening to avoid being wet, but I guess we’ll take ponchos and ride it early.

As far as Jingle Cruise goes, in the past two years I’ve actually seen it as one of the longer lines at the party. But maybe that was just my observations?

This may have been answered already but i make my LLMP selections tomorrow so a little short on time. When park hopping, if the 1st LL in my 1st park becomes a multi-experience pass due to the ride bring down, does that open up the ability to book a new LL in my second park or do I still have to actually redeem a LL in my 1st park to unlock that ability? Thanks!

No, using an MEP is not treated the same as tapping in to an LLMP. You have to tap into an LLMP to unlock tier and park restrictions.

My question is indirectly related to LLMP. Staying offsite and Monday is my Epcot day. Could not get Remy when I booked this morning, so want to rope drop from IG. My question is what is the best place to request an Uber to drop me off to be closest to IG?
