When I first set up our US walmart account years ago, we were going to Disneyland. So in order for it to work for me, when enetering my billing address I put my actual street address, but then put California for my state and I put a random California postal code. That seemed to allow me to create a walmart US account. I've been using that account now for years, dozens of times for both Disneyland and Disney World trips. And we are able to purchase alcohol from Walmart as well.
Not sure if this method still works, but might be worth a try.

And I just get an email notification when my delivery is on it's way. Going into my walmart account, it provides a link to track the driver to our hotel as well.

I just found Walmart to be the cheapest option for us, especially when we are usually grabbing just snacks and breakfast cereals for our hotel room and the Great Value brand is ridiculously cheap!

We can't create accounts with Walmart anymore, as our Canadian cell phones don't recive the mandatory confirmation text. You're lucky with you old account!

That's OK, we'll just stick to overprices resort cocktails I guess, and use Instacart for food.

have you tried using the talkatone app?

It gives you a free US# you can use to receive texts and calls to over the internet.

Lot of ads but they are unobtrusive.

I use my RBC cross border banking signature visa. So it’s a USD Visa card but from my Canadian Royal Bank account. We’ve used Walmart every visit for years, but someone reported before they may have changed things. When I go to place orders I use the hotel address as the billing address and it seems to work.

Looks like my orders came from Kissimmee Supercenter at 3250 Vineland Road. If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure it picked a walmart based on my delivery location or items.

I signed up for a free month of prime and then it offered me a free month of prime grocery delivery as well. Set an alert in my calendar to cancel those. I had looked thru the grocery section before I did those things and found everything we would be wanting is available from either Amazon Fresh or whole foods, and you get to pick a 2 hour window, usually within the same day.
We'll try that this trip and see how it goes. HUGE caveat, we both came down with covid-19 last weekend and we're not even sure if the trip will still go ahead or need to be postponed but I will report how it goes, whenever we use it!!!

When we use to order we would always use garden grocer… it was a little more expensive but had zero issues and never had substituted items… alway delivered on time.. the slightly higher price didn’t concern me based on the service we got.. now that we drive most trips we just hit Walmart before we check in

Has anyone purchased the instacart giftcards from Costco usa online and used them for Publix orders?? It looks like I'd have to the hotels shipping address.

Giftcards are $79 for a $100 giftcard, limit 2.

We are back from a split stay at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and OKW. We used Door Dash for groceries from Winn Dixie (I signed up for their rewards card about 20 years ago and it is still working, and it can be linked to your Door Dash order to get discounts). It appeared Aldi's was also available, but I am not familiar with the store. Very quick and easy to do. Just needed to change the delivery address from my home to the hotel address and room number.
