I kept refreshing in the app and was able to get 2 nights at the Miracosta, before and after my vacation package in the same room type. I'm so happy to only have to unpack once at disney! I know the email and/or number has been posted before to connect reservations but I can't find it. Hoping someone on this forum has it available. Thanks in advance! :)

Yay! It only took me a month of checking to line up my non-consecutive room nights with the VP in the middle. But I did it!

There's a form on the TDR website to contact reservations that you need to fill out. They'll get back to you after a couple of days.

Thank you! I found it on the site :)

It is a Capitano Mickey Superior. Just a little history about my room journey. I booked my unlimited 1 night package first and as soon as resevations were available for hotel only I tried and all that was available was the Ambassador for 1st night and 3rd Celebration. My thought was i wanted to at least stay in a Disney hotel so they could move my luggage around for me. And then after checking continously, I was able to get 1st night. And just right a couple weeks before last night. I checked continously through the day.

Thanks. I'm looking to book harbor view. Appears easy on a vp booking. Those rooms are hard to book room only

Undecided on fantasy springs fantasy chateau standard room or miracosta (portofino room) for my VP booking. Which would be easier to book as a room on its own when hotel only bookings become available before or after my trip so i dont need to swap hotels every night?

Miracosta should be easier. Fantasy Springs seems to sell out in seconds, less then a minute.
Rooms can be booked 4.months in advance, 11a JST. Do some tests.

Do you really want Fantasy Springs? Keep looking for cancellations. Reasonable shot, based on posters experience.

Booking the exact same room category may be a reach.

Surprised the fantasy springs hotel is still booking in seconds given its main perk, the fantasy springs pass, is now gone.

Its main perk is now HE, during which you can do all four attractions via stand-by lines before the front of the park people get back there and fill up the queues. We did just that on 4/2. Well, we skipped Tinker Bell, but could’ve easily done it.

When did the lines start filling up and when did you line up for HE?

We have the Fantasy Springs VP booked. Not early people, so I wasn't planning to use HE. But now I'm thinking it would be nice to do the rides twice. I have breakfast booked for 9, but 9:30 is still available. Do you think I'd be able to do HE, ride the 3 main rides, and be back in time for 9:30 breakfast? TIA!

Do the rides open during HE or do they still open at start of normal entry? If the latter then surely it helps with only early access to one ride as by the time you ride it wouldnt the other lines have all filled up with other guests (and miracosta HE guests).

You want to be early people at least this day. We got to the line about 8:20 (on an 8:45 HE morning) and weren’t near the front, but there still aren’t that many people and the entry process goes quickly. You want to go quickly right to A/E. We did A/E and PP right at HE and were finished by 9:30 or so. The front of park people don’t/ can’t get back for a good 20 minutes, and most of them go to A/E. You’d be late to your 9:30, and I think they only seat until 10.

They’re all open right at HE.

Thanks for the info! I was going to change the breakfast time to 9:30, but I'm afraid it's going to charge and refund me (even with no cost change). I would lose $100 with the exchange rate difference.

Think I'll try to change the time when I get there or just show up late and hope they let us in.

Are you sure? I didn’t think there was any charge/credit if the price remained the same.

I'm not sure at all. Did some more searching and maybe it won't. But I don't feel confident enough to try.
It should tell you the difference/total is ¥0, in which case nothing will be cancelled and rebooked. I know this because I modified my bookings a jillion times!

It shows a total charge of my package amount. Before and after the same amount. If you've seen total charge 0 before, that makes me think I would be charged/refunded.

As of September 1st DL Hotel guests won't be eligible for HE in Disney Seas. HE at Disney Seas will be between 5 and 15 minutes before regular guests.
