Pandora at night

Haven’t been to AK since 2012, so pandora is new for us. Will be there September 29, the park closes at 7pm. Any chance it will be dark enough to see Pandora all lit up??

Sunset is @ 7:15 that day so it won't be dark when the park closes but if you can linger a while maybe you could get lucky. Try getting in line at FOP @ 6:59 - should be dark by the time you're off the ride.

Thanks for the information. We usually just make that a 1/2 day park since it gets so hot. Going to try and stay till close this time.

Pandora is absolutely gorgeous at night. Try and be in line before the park closes and then you should be able to see Pandora all lit up.

We are shifting our Animal Kingdom day back by arriving around 1 or 2 pm to make sure we are there for Pandora at night, although we are there at the end of October so we will have lots of nighttime.

Agree with getting in line for FoP a few minutes before the park closes. Pandora at night is very nice when it is all lit up.

Agreed, try to see it. They still need to add more lighting IMO but it's still amazing.

Have noticed though the floating mountains are loosing their luster. I think the paint on them is what made them glow, and it's probably very difficult to get up there to maintain.

Any pictures you see tend to have brighter color than in person.
