I will finally get to take my 22 year old to Palo with me in January. I am Platinum. If I understand correctly, everyone in my stateroom receives a $50 Palo Credit, right?

We are likely to order a la carte, with one of us likely to spend more than the other. Do they just do a flat credit off the table (so $100 in total for the two of us) or do they only apply it to what each of us order?

We cruised with our sons in January. Only my husband and I are platinum, and we all got the Palo perk. At our Palo dinner, one son ordered ala carte and got a credit for the actual cost of his dinner, which was less than $50.

If everyone at the table is in a room with a Platinum guest, the total bill should have a credit of $50 per guest or the total food cost, if that’s less. Because people can share appetizers or entrees, it would be difficult to allocate costs per person.

I have a recollection that alcohol costs are not included (so if 2 people order prix fixe and 1 person orders $45 worth of food and a $10 drink, the credit would be for $145). I am not sure about this, though.

I believe they take it off at the end . Three of us went and mine was less than the $50 by $7 I think . They don’t give it back to you so it ended up being part of the tip.

Yes everyone in the stateroom gets the credit. You pay what goes over that.

Congrats to your son! We were finally able to take our son to Palo and Remy in 2023. He has wanted to go since he was seven. Wishing you a magical meal.
