Palo BRUNCH reservation question

Trying to book Palo BRUNCH
- when selecting both members in cabin it states no availability
- however we can select each person SEPARATELY and created two INDIVIDUAL reservations at the same time
- called disney cruise phone number and after a two hour wait was told you just need to book ONE person and it auto makes the reservation for both people in the stateroom
- doesn't make sense because it allows me to select BOTH people when booking a DINNER reservation.

So what happens if I book two INDIVIDUAL reservations at the same time? or is that needed?

This has been going on for awhile since they updated the backend to look for any table available vs parties of 2 only being able to book 2 tops.

I have been in contact with the frequently about it but PLEASE send in the contact us form about it to let them know it is still not resolved. They need to fix that glitch ASAP and it still should not be happening 8+ weeks after it was reported to them

Since a table for 1 will hold at least 2 people, booking 1 person should work, but you can make 2 separate reservations to be sure you can both get a seat. Just stop by Palo after you are onboard to ask that the reservations be combined.

I always book for only 1 person for a party of 2 and never have an issue. I do that so I can browse for other times without canceling.

I had to do this on my last cruise for dinner, I booked one reservation for each person. I did go to the Palo desk when I boarded but they’d already auto combined the reservations. They said they look out for multiple reservations for the same room on the same evening and then combine them.

I just wanted to say thank you! It never occurred to me to search just one person at a time, and now that I did, I found us a rezzie for brunch!

Agreed! The 1 person trick worked for me at midnight when I was getting an error for 2 people. I'm used to the quirky Disney dining system but probably wouldn't have thought to try for just 1 without seeing this post. Thanks all!
