Package Delivery at the Convention Center at Yacht/Beach Club?

Hi Disfriends,

I sent a package in advance of our trip. We arrive to Beach Club March 3rd, and I was surprised to receive an email today stating, "We have received a package for you, or someone in your party, in the Business Center at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort. We are located within the Convention Center and our hours are 7am – 5pm Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm Sat-Sun." I've never received an email like this before regarding a package I have shipped ahead of time.

I have shipped packages to myself at other resorts, but this will be the first time we stay at Beach Club. I've been used to just getting my shipped packages at the front desk when we check in. Where is the Convention Center? We will arrive in the evening, so I'm a little worried the Convention Center will be closed by the time we arrive.

Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

This is how Disney handles packages when you stay at a hotel with a convention center - all packages are delivered to the convention center. The convention center is in a separate building in front of the Yacht Club. Here's a link to the property map. Based on the hours listed it looks like you'll need to pick your package up the next day unless you can get to the business center before 5pm. You could try to contact the hotel directly to see if alternate arrangements can be made if you can't wait until the next day.

The email is definitely new, we used to stay there all the time and never got an email. It’s actually a great idea for them to let you know. As said before, resorts with convention centers have all inbound delivery’s for guests sent to their business centers. Super easy to deal with, but there is a handling fee that’s tacked on.

if you already know you are going to miss the busn centers hours you can always touch base with bell services or the front desk to see if they can help arrange for your package to be sent over. I ran into the same issue just last year at VGF and bell services was able to go get it even though they were closed for the weekend.
