Cast of Characters:
DH, myself, DD-13, DS-8
Our original plan was a 4 night cruise on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas, Dec 9-13, followed by a 3 night stay at the Yacht Club, Dec 13-16. I used a code to book YC for $169 + tax, standard view. I knew my kids would love Stormalong Bay. DH's sister and her husband, who were joining us on the cruise part of the trip, had to cancel because of their work schedules, so we decided to change our plans.
Then, we recieved a postcard and were able to book AKL for $109 + tax, standard view. This was a $25/night savings from our postcard rate last year, SOOO we cancelled YC and jumped at the chance to go back to AKL. We changed our dates to Dec 8-13, so we were able to stay 5 nights at AKL for the same price as 3 nights at YC. Yeaaaah!!!! The only request I made was bunk beds because I wanted to be surprised by floor and trail, so I set our countdown to Our 2nd Magical AKL Trip.
