I believe there are two SIDS per night and they take turns. We actually saw the Sids changeover while we were watching, it was pretty funny the way they did it… one walked behind a panel on the stage and the other walked right out the other side. When the audience reacted to the switch he put up his hands and barked “What?” It was funny. We did not see the same Sid performer as the last years. My friend was shocked, he was her favorite.

A giant green sack … I’m dying!!!That's hilarious. The only time I've showed up during a treat trail changeover was for Oogie Boogie himself this year. And let me tell you, you have not lived until you've watched a giant green sack have to walk backwards into the backstage area (I guess it was easier than turning around?). It was a sight to be seen and I wish my camera had been ready to take video.
Ummmmmm … I hate to break it to you but we are about to start a heat wave. Sunday is currently predicted to have a high of 95 in Anaheim. Just wanted to let you know so you can pack accordingly! Your kids might change their minds about the swimming with those temps! So looking forward to cooler weather and our first OBB this weekend! We are hanging around the Grand on Sunday until we can get in. My kids were sorta meh when I suggested swimming. We plan to explore the upper levels of the lobby which we have never done. Besides DTD, is there anything else we can explore at the hotel?
Ha! Maybe they will feel cool while everyone else is sweltering! That’s a 20 degree drop from our weather the last few days here! It was 113 today but was 116/117 this past weekend. I’m going to tell them to bring their suits just in case though!
I’m from AZ too and while the temps were nice last weekend it was still humid!! My hubby wore pants Saturday evening thinking it would be a bit chilly and he was super hot even after the sun went down. We brought light hoodies and never even used them. That’s a 20 degree drop from our weather the last few days here! It was 113 today but was 116/117 this past weekend. That’s good to know! Thanks! I was wondering if we’d be cold once the sun went down but decided probably not.I’m from AZ too and while the temps were nice last weekend it was still humid!! The Sanderson Sisters are Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle, just to make sure you are aware of that! They’re over in the corner behind the Hollywood Lounge, and their line gets very long. I’d recommend lining up for them well before the party starts to avoid wasting too much party time on that line. They are a meet and greet, although it’s a very quick photo op; they will hustle you through due to the long line.Sorry if this has been discussed or answered already, it’s a lot of pages to look through. Can someone tell me where you can see the Sanderson sisters and Oogie Boogie? These are the two my DD really wants to see. And are any of the characters a meet and greet, where you can take a picture and/or get a signature? Or they’re all just a quick walk by? Sorry, this is our first ever OBB. We’re so excited to finally get to experience it!!!
When we went through the Oogie Boogie line (early in the evening during a Sept party) they weren’t herding people through too quickly if you wanted to dawdle and OB was interacting briefly with some of the guests, but he’s on a raised stage and I think it would be hard to get a high quality selfie even if you try to take your time. The Sanderson Sisters are Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle, just to make sure you are aware of that! Oogie Boogie is a treat trail in the Animation Building. You can grab a quick selfie but not meet him.

I tried to put the "probability" of getting a selfie from low to high. No guarantees. Just from personal experience.
Meet and Greets:
Hollywood Backlot: Sanderson Sisters (Minnie, Clarabelle, Daisy) - didn't go this year, they were handing out preprinted autographs cards at least at some points in the past. Posed photos, possibly Photopass only.
On Avengers Campus: Loki and Shuri yes on photo and signature. Scarlet Witch yes on photo, but she doesn't sign. Meeting at the "A" photo spot area at the big Campus building. Moderate lines, had a long chat with Scarlet Witch.
At the Fountain on Carthay Circle: Prince Hans from Frozen: yes on photo and signature. Pain and Panic: yes on photo, didn't ask for signatures. Line can get ridiculous because everyone wants Pain and Panic. Second stop at Fountain can have lots of different villains from Captain Hook to Prince John. All signed and posed for pictures, lines not that crazy.
At the Water Wheel near Grizzly River Run: Bruno from Frozen. Posed pictures and signature, lines can be pretty long if you time it wrong.
World of Color Viewing Area: Kingdom Hearts photo stop, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, possibly 2 at once. Very busy when I was attended, may be limited to Photopass shoots only. When my friend tried night 2 no autographs were allowed.
Pixar Pier - Toy Story Meet area: Lotso. Posed pictures, no signatures when we tried.
Across from the Critter Carousel: Ember and Wade from Elemental, possibly an Inside Out character mixed in. Posed photos, no autographs, only Photopass pictures allowed night 2.
Near the Incredicoaster: Frozone and Edna alternating, posed photos, didn't try for signatures.
Maybe you could call to request early check in. Then you could hang out in your room. Also once you have your room key go up to the 6th floor patio that overlooks DCA.
