I got my pair of Beach Crocs yesterday and tried them on and they swim on me. I emailed the website and they did give me a RA# but they also said in the email that they are supposed to fit loosely. When I put my foot in they're 1 size bigger, if my foot hits the front of the shoe, there is an inch between my heel and the strap. Is that the way they are supposed to fit? Anyone out there with these that can confirm this? TIA :flower:

No, I don't believe they are supposed to fit that loosely. I have heard they run big and kind of wide, so if you have thin feet, like mine, they may not do for you.

Just got mine today and I think they don't fit either!! My toes hit the end of the shoe!! I normally wear a 9 and the CS rep at Crocs told me the medium (8-9) would be perfect. Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to keep wearing them if they are going to have to be returned. And since it took me almost a month to get them, I'm not sure about returning them!!

I Love My Crocs!!!!!

We live in the land of Crocs (the town where they were invented) and the guys that developed them went to our local high school. So a lot of people around here know them and consequently, most people around here own at least one pair of Crocs. They are so popular, you can even pick them up in the grocery store. I have 3 pair- Cayman, Beach and Highland. My kids - who all swim competitively own so many pair that it is impossible to keep them straight :)

Yes, the Beach are supposed to be big and loose. What you are describing sounds a lot like how my Beach fit. If you need something a little more tailored to your foot, get the Caymans. They come in actual sizes, such as 7,8,9 rather than XS, S, M, L and XL. Each of the Beach ones are supposed to fit a range of 2 sizes, so if you are at the small end of the size, they are going to be huge on you. I actually prefer my Caymans because they seem to have a bit narrower foot and more closely approximate my actual shoe size.

So...my toes shouldn't be touching the top of the shoe?? I had ordered the Cayman's but they were so backordered when they told me I could have the Beach model now, I jumped. Looks like I should have waited. Darn!!!

I normally wear a size 9 wide (BIG FAT FEET) and I tried on the L WAY TOOO BIG! I bought the M. The only regret I have is that I wanted the Navy blue and all they had were the tan color in my size, oh well just an excuse to get another pair. By the way, my husband thinks they are the ugliest shoes he has ever seen as do my teenage daughters! Oh well, comfort over style! :flower:

I wear right between a 7 and an 8. When I tried on the size 6-7 my toes hit the end and I knew I would hate that. I tried on the size 8-9 and I could have almost put another foot in there with mine.

I have heard they stretch.. but do they stretch so much your toes no longer hit the end of the shoe?

I normally wear a 7 1/2 shoe and bought the small beach crocs- size 6-7. When I first bought them my big toe hit the end of the shoe, but the next size up was huge so I bought them a little small. After wearing them for a couple of days my big toe no longer hits the front. They fit perfect and I LOVE them. They must stretch so go a bit small would be my advice.

Thanks, I'm usually b/w 7 1/2 and 8 so I ordered the 8-9 so I guess I will return them for the 6-7. I understand that the Cayman are actual sized but do they have the holes on top. While I don't find them attractive I really don't care about that, comfort in the parks is my main concern. Thank you all for your responses, you've been a big help. :teeth:

We have several stores that sell the Crocs in our town, but only i think the Beach model. When I tried on a pair the length was fine but I felt like the little dutch girl wearing clunky wide wooden shoes. My daughter bought a pair and just loves them, I put mine back in the box and left them at the store.
I don't think I could order these online unless I had already tried on a pair for fit and to see how they look on me.

Hi there
I wear a 9 w normally. I bought the medium Beach model. My toes do not touch the end and the strap fits securely around my heel. My toes have enough room but certainly not an inch. I think you may have it too big. Try a S.

I got my Beach Crocs yesterday and wore them around the house all day. At first, my toes did touch the front and top of the shoe and the back felt loose. But every time I stood up and walked around a bit, my foot seemed to position itself correctly and it felt fine. They seemed to fit me better standing than they did sitting.

I forgot to mention that I'm between a size 8 and 9, normally. My left foot is definitely a 9, but my right is closer to an 8.5. I got the Medium.

Just ordered a red pair of the Cayman's in a size 10. I hope they fit ok. I did try on a pair of the Beach Crocs in a M and a L...the M was too small and the L was too big.

We go to WDW in June, August and December this year and am hoping to find a comfortable pair of shoes.

It is a hard concept to grasp--the sizing. But I have worn Birks and clogs of many styles for years and I guess I am just used to the clumsy non structured shoe fit. My feet are really wide and I have bunions so it is really hard for me to find shoes that fit. I can wear anything from a 9 to a 10 but when I tried on the beach crocs I preferred the XL to the L because the room and too, the support still gave me incredible comfort.

I too live in the "Land of Crocs" as Goofy put it, and the people I have talked to around here generally wear them a bit loose.
I think for the most part, most people are so used to wearing their shoes tighter than they should or fitting so perfect that there is no room at all (according to my Podiatrist) that when they come accross a "free forming" shoe like crocs...they are thrown a bit and want to resort back to that really tightly snug fit. So, I would say go bigger and give them a chance because you will get used to them and I think it will feel better in the end.

I bought the Metros, which have the holes in the side but not on top. They come in number sizes (7, 8, 9) so they are a better fit than the Beach style. I wear mine with the strap around the back of my foot most of the time. They don't feel as loose that way.

What is the difference between the beach model and the caymans? To me they look the same, sizing is different and the price is different.

I tried these on yesterday and may go buy them today. I admit they are UGLY, but wow they felt great!

How much do they run? The guy said $28. Does that seem right? (I have no idea what style, but I bet it was the beach style.)

Carol, did you find them in Nashville? I looked at the Bass Pro Shop at Opry Mills, and they didn't carry them as the Crocs website said they did. I've got fairly narrow feet with a very narrow heel, and would love to be able to try them on before purchasing. Thanks!

Hi! I just want to put in my opinion....I wear a size 9-91/2 and I got the 10-11 Crocs...not sure which, but the ones with the holes in the top. My mom got them for me at a health food store!

These shoes are way big but I LOVE THEM LIKE THIS and have no trouble walking at all. If I push my toe to the end, there is a good 1 inch left in back. The strap doesn't touch me unless I push my heel all the way back on purpose. I just put them on and go - I love the loose feel and it's like I'm not wearing shoes at all. I can't wait to wear them at WDW in May! :cool1:
