We stayed at Old Key West recently (11/5-11/10/18) and were taken back by the poor quality of the food at Goods to Go. Our family has been coming to Old Key West since it opened and have always enjoyed grabbing a meal at Goods. This time the low quality of the food was appalling and the service was so slow. We ordered two separate meals, breakfast one day and lunch another day, and both were terrible.
At breakfast Aunt Patty's breakfast sandwich was a piece of sausage with a slice of cheese on a stale burger roll-and no one seemed to understand we got a drink with the quick service meal.
For lunch the tuna platter had tuna that looked as if it had been sitting out in the heat because the mayo was melting, the turkey sandwich had one slice of turkey on a gigantic stale roll and the apple juice with the kids meal tasted as if it had turned.
At both meals the service was slow although I will say the employees are very nice. Part of the enjoyment of the resort is walking over for breakfast or hanging at the pool and grabbing lunch-this was a disappointing experience.
Emailed the GM email in the room after we got back-no response!
