"Official" 2024 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Just left first party and wow, we loved it! Was able to eat at Skipper Canteen, see Tiki Birds, Country Bears. Watched the first parade which was awesome. Ate at three of the candy cane stations. Sugar frosted cookies and apple cider and a chocolate peppermint cookie. Hot cocoa was good. Didn’t find the eggnog yet. Rode Tiana and Speedway. Watched the castle show, fireworks and rode Peoplemover. It was an amazing party. Cast did a great job. What a great night!! No lines, crowd virtually non existent.

If you love egg nog as much as me … I am already stalking Baskin Robbins for their egg nog ice cream
This is new at Target
Pepperidge Farm Holiday Nog Cookies.
I stupidly only bought one bag and have already returned to buy more
Open the bag for the fresh smell and then take a bite !

Chocolate peppermint cookie where was this?

It's only 10:43! Get back in there until midnight! lol.

Awesome to hear, how was the wait time for Tiana? My oldest daughter is beyond excited to ride it!
I know, we left early :) This old couple gets tired. It’s amazing I can make it past 9 most nights :) We were at the start of the parade and went right to Tiana when the parade ended. Wait was 10 minutes if that. When we were done with the ride it was up to 25 minutes. Loved it!

It was red velvet. Tasted good but I didn't get peppermint flavor. Will have to see when I eat the 2nd one I got later.

I'd manage expectations with lines, it was all about when you got there. I got in line for tron before the parade hit the hub and the posted time went up while I was in line. Same with mine train, I got in line during fireworks and it was much longer when I got off.

I tried minnie, daisy, Donald and scrouge twice but the line was an hour and 70 min the longer being after fireworks. I'd expected it to go down not up. The line from Santa always looked long.

Stitch was an hour at 7 but I came back a bit later and it was about 10. You can see that line.

Mickey has a posted time, watch it in the app, it seemed pretty accurate when I went.

My biggest thing is still the castle lights. It's just not the same christmas magic without them. The vibe just felt off to me.

Try watching this video of parade - I think it's a lot better than what we saw on the live last night.

I'm sorry, I just love the inclusion of the Nutcracker music! Watch especially during the princess part of the parade and the Toy Soldiers, it's magical! But I get it if you loved the former music, we've just never seen it in person, so for us this will be new and a first for us!

n/m - saw they made it private!

I really missed this when I attended last year. I think it's a better experience now for those that never saw them in the first place - just like those who never visited Studio when Osbourne Lights were offered. Stunning, right?

Where exactly is Stitch meeting? I know it’s Tomorrowland. But I wasn’t sure if it was by the photo backdrop walk in thing?

I just watched a video of the castle show for the first time!!! Oh my gosh I loved it! I've seen the Halloween Show a few times now and I'm sure I'll be in the minority, but I think this one is way more fun!

What time do they put out the party merch? I'm looking to buy some stuff when I'm in MK on a day I'm not going to the party in order to wear it when we go a few days later. Is that possible?
No.

Party-specific merchandise is out all the time but you can only buy it on the same day you have a ticket for. You can buy it earlier in the day and change.

So if you plan to go to the second parade at 11, do most people just stick around on Main Street after 10pm fireworks?

Last time we went my youngest was only 5, so we didn’t want to risk the 11pm parade (even though he ended up lasting until midnight!), but as a result we did the earlier parade. This go around I would like to plan to hit the later parade and go on rides during the first.

This is our plan I think.

I think we’re going to do the 6:15 castle show, do some rides and cookies, take in the sights, then do the 10pm fireworks then 11pm
Parade - that is assuming my kids nap during the day (almost 5 and 6.5 years old but they can stay up late especially with a nap!)

If they don’t nap then we’ll have to do the early parade

Finally get to go to MVMCP and seven dwarves aren’t doing a meet and greet 🙁

Also Disney website and DFB have Nov 29th party sold out as well.

Anyone know which cookies are being handed out at Gaston's and the Lunching Pad? So far from this thread and other sources, I have:

Cosmic Rays -- frosted sugar cookie
Columbia Harbor House --caramel pretzel chocolate chip
Gaston’s -- gingerbread
Lunching Pad -- green frosted sugar cookie, tree-shaped + cocoa
Tortuga Tavern -- red velvet

If anyone wants to help me fill in the other cookies (or where cider etc. is found), I will add them here to have a complete list.

Gaston’s has gingerbread
Lunching Pad has green frosted sugar cookies in shape of trees with hot cocoa

Not sure if anyone is watching streams but I'm watching the parade while it's in Frontierland and the parade soundtrack is so much different than previous years :(. I'm actually disappointed as the music doesn't fit as well, totally my opinion though!

I'm the opposite- I like the new parade music better

Be sure to go into the candy confectioners shop on Main Street to visit that new gourmet flavored popcorn to create personalized tins .
