I would LOVE the Wonder to come back to the East Coast for a season. I still haven't made it to the West Coast to sail on her.The one going west next year sold out in days. There might be another one coming back east in the Fall 2026 release depending what they do with the 2 ships doing Alaska next year. One is going to be sent to Australia but we don’t know about the other one.
I was listening to a dcl podcast talking about the new releases and one guess speculated that maybe they send Magic instead of Wonder to Australia to give them new experiences.
We did that. It wasn't a package, we just did it on our own. We did Disneyland first and then took a train from Anaheim to San Diego the morning of the cruise. It was a great trip!I would book a combo Disneyland/ 3-4 night DCL cruise from SD package if they offered it.
Dry Dock. The Wonder is also doing one at the end of Alaska.Semi-related, has there been any info on the huge gap for the Magic from when it goes from SD to Vancouver before the Alaskan itineraries begin mid-May. There’s like a 3 week gap in itineraries.
They JUST did a drydock on the Magic May of '23.... is she having problems?Dry Dock. The Wonder is also doing one at the end of Alaska.
Ah, that definitely makes it sound like moving her there was a fairly recent decision - thanks! There has been some speculation that the Magic is being dry docked to prep the hull for Alaskan waters and possibly working the radio antennas/tower to be collapsible to make it under the bridge in Sydney.
The Magic and Wonder have both received several drydocks that are only 2 or 3 years apart, it's really not all that unusual. By the time she drydocks prior to heading to Alaska it will be almost 3 years. Not out of the ordinary at all, nor is it indicative of any "problems". In fact if there were "problems", they wouldn't be waiting another 1+ year to be solving them. They JUST did a drydock on the Magic May of '23.... is she having problems?
Hopefully that means they send the Wonder back to the Atlantic. There has been some speculation that the Magic is being dry docked to prep the hull for Alaskan waters and possibly working the radio antennas/tower to be collapsible to make it under the bridge in Sydney.

Yup, why the PC cruise in April 26 sold out so fast (when it opened for silver I had to refresh a lot to find a room), hasn't been one in a few years and a future one anytime after that is unknown.Ok, so if I am following correctly then the Magic is doing PC in April of 2026. That PC is sold out and unless they decide to bring back the Wonder after Alaska next fall, there will be no announcements for a EBPC or WBPC anytime soon? Do I have that right?
Did you score a stateroom? If you do not mind I would love to know what the dates are for that cruise. I would love have my TA keep an eye on it if anything opens up.Yup, why the PC cruise in April 26 sold out so fast (when it opened for silver I had to refresh a lot to find a room), hasn't been one in a few years and a future one anytime after that is unknown.
