New Hotel discount? Land & Sea?

A travel agent posted on social media that Disney is offered WDW hotel discounts for before your cruise leaves, but only at 2 hotels. They would say that there wasn't a discount at any deluxe hotel, but wouldn't list the hotel names or the name of the discount beyond "Land & Sea". I can't find any information about this any where on the web, and the TA wanted us to transfer our cruise before they would give more details. Does anyone know anything about this possible discount?

Saratoga Springs or Key West Resorts I looked on my email I got yesterday...and its "can save 35%", so it probably depends on dates and all the other things

for dates between March 12 - December 31 for pre or post stays, up to 14 nights with 2 rooms per reservation....

Guests sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida can save 35% when they extend their Disney Cruise Line vacation at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels! For travel dates March 12 through Dec. 31, 2025, Guests can add a pre- or post- stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or Disney's Old Key West Resort.
This special offer is available for stays up to 14 nights with two rooms per reservation, and can be added before or after the guest's cruise. This offer is valid only for guests sailing from Port Canaveral.

Unless you are a travel advisor, I don't know if you would.....

but I do know that a lot of times the travel advisor emails I get are just a few days before the announcements to everyone....so maybe they are gonna announce it soon....

Unfortunately for me, those are 2 of the resorts I have no desire to stay at - especially without a car.

And big.

They're also consistently the cheapest of the Villa resorts, so I guess their occupancy is pretty low which is why they're the only ones getting the offer I'm sure.

I think it can be. The rental prices for DVC have gone up a lot recently. It also has the advantage that you can book short notice. Renting DVC points needs to be planned ahead.

I actually think that both OKW and SSR are much better than their reputation. We stayed at both without a car and it was not an issue. Especially SSR would be nice if you just want one night before the cruise as you have all of Disney Springs next to the resort. Even OKW has a boat to Disney Springs.
