I’ve previously done the character breakfast here years ago, but am a sucker for new outfits.

The article doesn't say which meals this theming affects. Is it possible to avoid character meals at certain times of the day?

@irlandaise - The characters don't appear at dinner. (At least not usually.)

Yeah this is what is says on the Disneyland App.

“Celebrate California folklore over a bountiful buffet—and meet some Disney Characters during breakfast and brunch. They don’t appear during dinner, but delicious food does!”

I've just been this morning. There were offering 2 different quiches this year which I hadn't seen on the menu before, but it's been a while since my last visit. Food was very good as usual. The new costumes are so totally adorable..

I dont think there is a difference. Its all the same food just a different time of day. I will be there in less than a week and can report back, but I dont expect there to be any different food since there never has been in the past.

Tim Tracker put a video up a few days ago which included this. He always does an excellent job of showing all the food choices in a buffet. And this particular video he really took note of the character’s costumes.

Has anyone seen dates on when these dining experiences will open up to book: Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween and Mickey’s Autumn Adventures at Storytellers Cafe?

Similar to last year it doesnt show past August 21st but I cant remember last year when it opened up.

same! on disney parks blog it says these two will be going on this fall on my calendar from last year i have august 15th written down as the day it opened for reservations but i havent seen any dates yet other than it starts august 22nd
