I hope this is not the new schedule. I'm staying at a Deluxe just to do Epcot Extended Evening Hours end of Feb.

it could be a clue about when the Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. I’m pretty happy I’ll be able to see the AK all lit up!

Huh. I'd seen the first one, and assumed it was due to the CM day at MK on Thursday 30 January. Not sure about the second one though. Maybe that one is Skyliner related 🤔 Or maybe they're just both for some other reason entirely.

I'm a bit peeved though. I was excited for one AK EEH, but I'd rather have one at EPCOT than another one at AK.

Does it also seem strange that they would have 2 in a row at AK? 🤔

Mondays are usually Epcot and those seem to be the same. The Wednesdays we can see seem to have changed from MK to Animal Kingdom at least temporarily. But if you are only concerned about Epcot then it looks like you should be fine

Nope, it's Monday 3 February that's changed to AK too. So both the Wednesday AND Monday nights for that week!

I think we're going to love AK (this is our first trip but we love animals), but it's probably the park that needs EEH the least, and we're not even interested in FoP, so it's disappointing to have 2 of them in a row!

Oh that is strange. I was looking at the previous week when I will be there which still has Epcot as Monday and AK as Wednesday. I can't see the Wed after though, so that may be a different park. Do they ever do the same park for both Extended Evening hours in the same week?

Honestly, I'm pretty new to this, but in my limited experience, I've never seen the same parks for both EEH in a week.

Having said that, I've been going off Touring Plans, but it looks like the official WDW website hasn't been updated that far out yet, so maybe it will change back 🤔

I'm just trying to get organised so I know what ADRs to book on Thursday. Might just have to book them in based on what's in Touring Plans and then change/work around them if things change when the official schedule comes out.

I would expect it to be MK, or maybe Epcot as neither of those have after hours events that evening and those are the 2 usual Extended Hours parks

They once did Epcot five Extended Evening hours in a row back in 2023 party season.

That would make sense since they have Jollywood nights as well as MVMCP now. Split the extended nights between Epcot and AK during that time, weighted towards Epcot since that is a normal Extended Evening park. But in January when less after hours events are going on? I just don't see them doing AK a bunch of times in a row unless they are doing late night maintenance on something at Epcot I guess

Yeah there doesn't seem to be anything that would require them to change to AK for that night, unless there's something we're not aware of yet.

I have never seen Avatar. Never care too much Flight of Passage is one of the best attractions in Orlando. Hands down. Give it a chance. Unless you have motion sickness or other things that might make it less then fun.

Definitely is a good one. Probably in my top 5 at WDW. I would love to ride it with a short wait a few times in a row when I'm there for extended hours!

I just wish they would fix the screens/glasses. Half of the time I go on it it doesn't focus and I get distracted trying to find a spot in the glasses that focuses instead of enjoying the ride!

We actually didn't mind Avatar, but yes, we can both experience quite severe motion sickness. We watched a ride-through and it didn't seem like it would be worth the risk. As I said to my partner though, I'm sure it's one of those rides that you have to experience in person - not sure it would really come across in a youtube video lol!

I do intend to take a couple of Kwells (Aussie equivalent of Dramamine) to experience GoG at least once, but that looks AWESOME! I also generally cope far better with rollercoasters than rides that are more screen-based. My partner also thinks it looks awesome, but he won't risk it.

Definitely give GOTG a try. Last time I went with 2 people that do get motion sick on occasion but they didn't have any problems. Cosmic Rewind is by far my #1 ride at Disney. Worth a try even if you do get motion sickness just to see because it is THAT GOOD. Made my wife's cousin cry when she rode it the first time, and now she is going again with us and bringing her boyfriend because she "cannot let him go through life without experiencing it," even though he is not a big amusement park fan lol

That is fair. It is one of those screen ones where you really need to just keep your head straight. I have looked around to see some of the guts a few times and I’ve gotten off a bit wobbly because of it.
