Yes, I thought Frozen was the oddball one out. Like really? a repeat too. its a great show though, I saw it on the Wonder. but ya think you’d want to make each show on each ship unique to entice folks to go on that specific ship. oh well, i’ll still enjoy it when I get on the Destiny.I actually like most the Destiny, except I don't feel like the Frozen show really fits in. The Lion King dinner sounds great, and the Marvel stuff will really appeal to my tween kids. The biggest Marvel fan I know personally is a 38-year-old childless male so I think that could bring in both kids and millennial adults (I have no clue what the generations in between are into). We sail Disney for the IP and kid's clubs so this kind of stuff appeals to us.
Frozen would have been better on Treasure, for me as that fits the ‘going on an adventure’ theme.Yes, I thought Frozen was the oddball one out. I know I was really expectingI think Tangled would have been a better fit for Destiny. I’m surprised the Magic has two shows that are on no other ships still.
I agree, especially since the Destiny is all about classic heroes and villains. While Tangled is more modern, it does fit the classic structure of hero and villain better than Frozen.I think Tangled would have been a better fit for Destiny. Its pretty.DCL announces exclusive magic band for the Treasure:

And a great "money maker".....Its pretty.
There's been a lot of advertising in their train stations and on public transport for the last month or two. It still just vaguely says 2025.I think some people living in Singapore had mentioned seeing some local advertising regarding the Adventure. Wondering if there has been any indication yet of when she'll start sailing?
I saw it, too. Makes me sad. We love the Magic and the Wonder. Someone posted about it a week or so ago and I posted that we will probably not continue sailing with DCL in the long term. Still enjoy the Dream and the Fantasy, but not happy with many changes to the Triton class. Don’t want to cruise with even more of my very best friends. Hope they take all of the feedback on the Wish and make some amazing changes.Sooo.. maybe my forum search skills are sub par, but I havent seen much discussion lately on the four new ships that were announced at D23. At the time there was a LOT of discussion (and arguments) about would these be a new class of ships, or just more Triton Class? And if a new class, would they follow general trends and be HUGE, or some were hoping more small ships to replace the Magic and Wonder. Or a mixture of all of the above.
Is Cruise Industry News considered an unreliable source, especially their section 'Cruise Ship Orders?'

Because they list the new Disney ships we know of, the treasure, the destiny, the adventure, but the ALSO LIST 4 NEW UNAMED SHIPS, coming in 2027, 2029, 2030, and 2031. These ships are listed as the same size (so one class), that is only slightly larger than the Triton class (so not mammoth, but different). 160,000 tonnage versus 140,000 and a capacity of 3,000 versus 2,500.
I would think people would be buzzing about this (if reliable).
Great link. 20,000 tons may not seem like a lot, but it added 500 passengers. I noticed that the OLC/Tokyo order is roughly the same as the Wish class (I'm a purist and refuse to call it the Triton class when none of the ships bear that name).Sooo.. maybe my forum search skills are sub par, but I havent seen much discussion lately on the four new ships that were announced at D23. Do we know where that passenger count comes from? Is it based on 2 passengers per room? Because the Wish class has a passenger capacity of 4,000. If that's the case then it's actually adding more than 500 passengers.Great link. 20,000 tons may not seem like a lot, but it added 500 passengers.
