Check your BJ's coupons. I had a $5/$50 coupon. Used it to purchase one of the $100 DGCs that is on sale for $93.99. OOP cost was $88.99 after discounts. Paired it with my Discover card for another 5% cashback ($4.45). Total savings ~15.5%.

Weird Target Circle Bonus Glitch.
This AM I had a new bonus. Spend $180 with my Red Card get $20 circle bonus. Expires tomorrow. Wasn't there yesterday. It says I have already completed it (I haven't). There aren't any rewards in my account. Assume it's a glitch and hopefully it gets fixed asap.

I had the same thing happen on Sunday!

Mine was a spend $300 for $30 reward, also said completed. I contacted them via chat and the second rep (first had no clue) had to transfer me to a higher dept. rep. None could find the offer until I sent them a screenshot. The higher rep said it was indeed some type of odd glitch and that offer was one from LAST YEAR that I had completed. Said he sent a report for investigation of this glitch. After I complained that I had wanted that offer (or any offer) to complete, he noted I had completed every offer to date and issued me a $5 egift card for the hassle. The offer finally disappeared from my account about 20 minutes later.

It's an odd glitch for sure!

Mine did too…. I have a question about PayPal actually I thought maybe I’d try to start doing some more shopping through there, but do they not have some kind of search function where you can just search for the store you’re wanting to shop at to see if they have it in their list.

I’ve done that at Food Lion many times. One cashier was like “why??”. I explained and they were like that’s smart. Otherwise they just give you weird looks.

I'm glad I didn't pay for a membership and just signed up for the 1-day pass.

Yeah, BJ's just cancelled my membership after several years since I have a California address. Kind of a bummer.

I used to do the GC hustle through BJs via Discover/Chase Freedom 5% but ever since a horrific experience where I had $1000 worth of them stolen by the UPS store I hilariously had them delivered to because I wouldn't be home, I am extremely wary of buying physical cards. (Luckily BJ's was on the ball and voided the stolen ones and reissued me new ones)

I was an absolute mess and had some really fantastic customer service that day from Chase and BJs. But ever since then I have mainly stuck to Target Red/Circle Card since they're e-cards. I wish BJs would issue e-cards, I know Costco does whenever they have discounted Disney GCs.
