Yep, points will go to pending but PayPal won't pay out on gift cards. PayPal doesn't set up the terms, they get them from the merchant.

Yes, I saw that.
We've been around for awhile, if we had positive payouts it would have been listed on the Updated thread as well as this one on Post #2. It's never been listed.

I'm not sure. I just saw the app promotion and posted it. I certainly hope it works out. I don't have BB app (it's a husband thing) so hopefully if it does come to fruition someone will post about it.

I linked my Chase Freedom Flex card to my existing PayPal account and made it the primary card for this quarter (Q4 2024). I then purchased discounted Disney gift cards from BJ’s and on the payment screen, set my PalPal account as my payment option.

It shows up on my credit card bill as PayPal-BJ’s Wholesale Club, so I get the 5% cash back this quarter bc PayPal is one of the merchants that qualifies for the 5% rewards this quarter.
