NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More

It counts. But make sure after the RedCard 5% discount, you are still over $100. Official rules indicate you don’t need to be but my experience has been that it didn’t work without being over.

This seems to be extremely hit or miss, I just placed two orders for $100 GC each minutes ago that were under with the discount and almost instantly as the email came through, the Target Circle step was credited to my account and honestly have never had the issue others are describing where it is delayed.

Same here. I've never had problems with combining digital gift cards and other purchases to hit the minimum for what it's worth, but I checked out with everything at once.

It was weird because in the past I haven’t had this issue, but I recently have.

If my 2024 DVC dues are already paid, can I apply these gift cards now to make a negative balance that will be applied to 2025 dues once they post?
You can, but if you do the monthly option, I would hold off until they post with your monthly amount. Reason being is when you initially set up the monthly withdrawl, it takes whatever you owe and splits it into 12 payments. So say you owe $1200 for the year. If you put $600 towards it now, and you haven't set up the monthly payment yet, when you set it up you will owe $50 per month starting in January. However, if you set up the monthly payment first, you will owe $100 per month, and then put the $600 down, it will show the first 6 months as paid and you will owe $100 per month starting July2025. So if you don't have the full amount available in gift cards, I'd wait until it posts so you can delay any future dues payments as long as possible (and hopefully get more discounted gift cards prior to cover them).

Great tip!!

Very helpful. Thank you

Sorry I was referring to the total tech or whatever they call it.

They had changed to only giving discounts to those folks.

Trust me I certainly took advantage of the business account one with multiple businesses :). I think they were like 10% off at the time plus you could pay with paypal for an extra 5% from chase or using a Cash+ if you had selected electronic stores
I may or may not have 3 business accounts and was able to score 81 DGC's last year. Which paid for my AP's with about 1k left over for my room.

Yes it was 10% as they had the $50 cards for $45.

Fingers crossed they offer it again this year.

Check your Chase cards for offers. I just received one for 15% back at Office Depot or OfficeMax. It was only on up to $10 back but it’s something. I haven’t checked all of my cards so hoping it’s on more

I want to do the $35 Target Circle credit after 4 $100 purchases. I am going to spend $75 on diapers for the $15 GC deal, but was thinking about putting a $25 Disney GC in there also to get one of my purchases done. Can anyone confirm is Disney GC count towards the total for the $35 Circle deal?

This will not work, since when you have a Target deal that involves getting a Target gift card, the amount of the Target gift card does not count towards the bonus spend. Basically, if they are giving you a $15 Target gift card, they are taking $15 off the price of the diapers and then charging you $15 for the Target gift card (and buying a Target gift card is specifically excluded from the bonus spend).

So if you are buying $75 in diapers and getting a $15 Target gift card, you only get $60 towards the bonus spend so you would need to buy a $40 Disney gift card to reach the $100 (and the Disney gift cards sold by Target do not come in $40 increments, so you would have to buy a $50 Disney gift card.)

I have attached my receipt from a previous order which illustrates exactly how Target subtracts the gift card amount from the other item and then charges you for the gift card.

Hey all! I've taken a 3 year break from the gift card game and these boards in general because of no Disney trips planned. But I'm hoping we can get to DisneyLAND this summer. My youngest is 5 and my oldest is 15 (with 3 more in between) and the 15yo wants to see the joy of Disney in his little sister that he got to experience so much when he was little.

Sooo...I got the Target circle offer of earn a $15 reward with 2 purchases of $90 or more. I bought an Elsa vanity mirror for $20 (used the 25% toy coupon), a $50 DGC email, and a $25 DGC (email). It does not show step 1 to be completed yet..maybe when the vanity mirror ships?

Usually you do have to wait for all items to ship

I finally got a BJ's generic coupon after not having got one since I started my membership in May 2024. $15 off $150! Expires 11/21/24.

Its times like this when I hate that they discount the GC's!! Now I have to find something small and ask the deli for 1 slice of cheese please. :)
Has anyone been able to apply this generic coupon to a gift card purchase? I didn’t see an exclusion but it’s not applying. Maybe I missed something. Thanks!

It is working for me, although I did not buy my gift cards yet.

Note that you need to have more than $150 for it to work. You cannot buy the 3x$50 for $14x.xx to trigger the coupon, the total must be over $150.
