Our church did fundraising for a renovation project. Donors of a certain amount get a "brick" that is going on a walkway. You can put an inscription on the brick

It has to be short, like this:

Rejoice in the Lord!
The (name) family.

Someone is putting this one, so I was trying to think of something else.

Please help!!

Thank you! :)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
Proverbs 16:3

Romans 15:33
The God of peace be with you all. Amen.

1 Corinthians 13:6
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy and peace.
- Galatians 5:22

"Quit steppin on me!!"

"Nice Shoes!"

OK. Really I'm now trying to think of good churchy family things...

"Thankful for our blessings"

"Our blessings are many"

"A light unto my path" (Shortened from "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path...that would be a a big brick!)

I literally lol'd.

One year, 4th of July, it was 100 degrees by 9:00 Mass and NO Air conditioning in our old church. Our priest gave the shortest sermon I will ever hear:

"God Loves You" and he sat down. I think that pretty much says it all.

Short and sweet! :thumbsup2

I'm partial to, "We need not think alike to love alike." (Rev. Ferenc Dávid)

Genesis 21:22
God is with you in all that you do

Peter 1:6
Be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead!

Job 37:14
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Psalms 27:5
In time of trouble... He shall set me upon a rock.

Thought this was very fitting for a brick

"We walk by faith, not by sight".

I would either use a portion of scripture as others have said, like
Pray continually
Love always
Love never fails
God is love
Walk humbly

or I would look into some Christian song titles--
Dance like David!
Amazing grace!

Let us know what you choose!

Can the bricks be "In Memory of?"

If so, that would be my first choice. "In Memory of XXXXX beloved Mother/father/daugher/friend... ect."

Otherwise I would be doing something like, "Got love?" :teeth:

But that's me.

How about "God bless us, everyone".

Psalm 121! Make them look it up. I saw a license plate GAL VI 9 and curiosity made me look it up.

Or a line of a hymn?
