Honestly, it just never ends.
Yesterday I woke up and as I was getting ready for work, I kept feeling like I had something in my eye. After about 3 hours of trying to clear it out, I realized that maybe something else was going on. I looked at my lower lid a million times and just couldn't find a bump or pimple or anything on it.
I woke up this morning and it felt better, but later on I could feel it again. I also had a strange headache for some reason and left work early. When I got home, I *really* examined my eye on the white part, just below my iris I could see a little white bump. I called the optometrist I go to and they were able to get me in. He said it was a conjunctival cyst or retention cyst. It is fluid-filled. In fact I have four of them. Most people don't even know they have them but one of the four hits right up against my lid margin which is why I can feel it. It might go away on its own (doubtful, he said) or I can go to an opthamologist and have it drained. It is really only the size of a grain of sand but I can feel it CONSTANTLY.
I swear, every week it's something new.
