Do they still do the musical chairs with Alice and Peter Pan? If so can someone please refresh my memory about what time it is and where it is located....I am thinking it was someplace off main street but it has been a while! Thanks so much!!

Coke Corner the west side of Main Street on the Hub end. I think this is always at 2:30pm.

We have never seen Peter Pan there, just Alice and the Mad Hatter.

If Peter Pan is out and about on any given day, it's likely that he will be at Musical Chairs (this may not be true when Soundsational is run, if the walk-about friend is also the parade friend):

Oh my gosh! I haven't seen that in ages! I completely forgot about that, I am so glad you mentioned it! My kids will love that :)

Is it all year long? We are going in October

That's a great photo, we've never seen the Queen of Hearts there either, again, just Mad Hatter and Alice. The time the girls were asked by Alice to play with them it was just the two of them. We've seen it happen a few other times as well (we've been quite a bit.....lol) and never seen Peter or the Queen. That obviously doesn't mean it's like that every day, but that's been our experience. :) I just don't want anyone to assume that Peter will be there and be disappointed when he's not.

I've only seen this happen when the weather was good, as far I can remember I've never seen them playing this when the weather is bad. IE, raining.....if it's cold sure, but not rainy.

When it is colder Alice will wear a cape. If it is a slow day with light rain they have moved it inside the Coke Corner.

Musical Chairs usually has Alice, Mr. Hatter, and one other character. Often seen are Alice, Hatter, Peter Pan, Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit (aka: Professor Von Fluffybottom.) Cptn. Hook. Often (Thursdays) Bert and Mary Poppins will be there (But not participate).

Two weeks ago in one Musical Chairs we had appearances by: Mad Hatter, Peter Pan, Perla & Suzy (Cinderella's Mice), Chip & Dale, Cruella de Ville, and Goofy..!!! (No Alice?)

Last time I went to Disneyland Peter, Alice, and The Hatter played a game of charades with a group of us in front of the Matterhorn. I'm not sure if they do that on a regular basis or not, but it was great.

How many people do they choose to play and is there any tricks to get your children picked, like there is for the jedi show?

One of the things that makes this great fun is that it is not listed. Just show up at 2:30 and when Alice and the Hatter come out do not be shy and sit down. Often they have trouble finding enough kids! They usually have 6-12 at a time.

NO waiting, NO Lines, NO tricks needed, just show up.:cool1:

I love the pic with the little Alice's...especially love how the littlest Alice has her shoes on the wrong feet. So sweet.:cutie:

It's a matter of judgment on rainy days - they will move the piano inside and play the musical chairs game or not. Alice & Mad Hatter have showed up inside Refreshment Corner when no game was played.

There are characters other than those listed above that have participated.

I have never been to it, but I have read in about a dozen places on DISboards that it is 2:30 at Coke Corner.

We went last summer & it was at 2:30. We arrived about 2:15 & watched for the characters to come in. My 2 kids went over to Alice to see if they could play & so they were in the group that did the Musical Chairs. They had such a great time. We had Alice, the Mad Hatter & the Red Queen. Alice was so sweet to my daughter when she fell & scraped her knee. My son tied for the win & they won................the opportunity to help put the tables & chairs back!!! :lmao:

This was taken after the game....they'll pose for pictures & sign autograph books.
