I love henna! We saw the shop in Morocco last year, but it was not open, but this year, I'm determined to get a tattoo! So glad Eilee could get her tattoo fixed! Love the photo bomb!
Not only was that a wonderful Via Napoli review, but it was also hilarious! The henna tattoo incident (I'm glad it had a happy ending), the switching of the shoes, the random bunny in a suit, the photobomb, and the "Ehrmergerd!" for the zeppole - all these little things had me cracking up.
The pizza there is wonderful. The pistachio gelato sounds fantastic (and that's a huge stamp of approval if it compared favorably to the real thing from Italy). Finally, the zeppole...I've never tried them at Via (partly because there are so many pizza joints at home where I can get them), but you know what? I never actually buy the ones at home, since they're too sugary and greasy for me! Those look excellent, and now I'm missing VN more than ever.
You ordered everything I wanted to eat at Via Napoli. I am glad it did not disappoint! I am so happy Eilee was able to get her henna tattoo fixed.

You are too funny! I don't think I have ever seen the henna tattoos either. And we also wondered about that rabbit!
Love, love the zeppoles! We may go back in November just to have them!
Great Via Napoli review!
You're such a great mom to switch shoes with your daughter. I'm not sure that I would be able to trade my comfy shoes for blister-causing shoes.
Thanks for the review, I excited to try some of that great looking pizza. Good to know about splitting it.
Do they serve bread at VN before the meal?
Loved your CRT review! It really is such a fun experience to eat there.
Thank you for the picture of the Avengers monorail! I was really looking forward to seeing it on my trip in May and I kept telling DH about it, but we never saw it. On the last morning of our trip I saw it as it was about to pass by Poly as we were standing in the parking lot of the hotel and I was screaming at DH to look quick, but he was looking at fantasy baseball and ignoring me completly, so he never did see it. I don't think he believed that there really was an Avengers monorail, but now I can show him photographic evidence that I am not crazy. Well... not crazy in this instance anyway.
Yum! Beignets! The only thing better than something fried is something that is fried and covered in powdered sugar.
Eilee's minor henna disaster made me laugh because it reminded me so much of what happened to my own henna tattoo that I got when I was in Morocco. I had gotten one that went up my entire left forearm and was completely thrilled with it, until I went into the stall of a "voodoo" specialist and he suddenly rubbed some soap on my arm and completely scuffed the tattoo up! I was beside myself with grief. A kind lady tried to fix it but unfortunately that area still faded away ten times faster then the rest . Anyway, complete threadjack but it was a nice trip down memory lane for me!
I seriously wish we had room for Via Napoli on our upcoming trip. Pizza is one of the few instances when I will eat red sauce!
Thanks for letting me know! With pizza I don't need the extra carbs anyway. The calamari sounds good to me on their menu.
I LOVE THIS!!! I could have easily done a "texting" collage from my last trip had I have thought about it. BRILLIANT IDEA, TRACY!!!
Oh, and I had two daughters with me doing this. For all I know, they were texting each other saying how lame their mother was for making them get up so early!
Too funny! I have a 13 year old ( just turned).. She is not there yet with texting but I am expecting the excessive texting anyday now !
Be careful with the Tower of Terror run, Run Disney events are very addicting!
Another super funny update. And good for you about the ToT 10-miler! Another Disney trip on the horizon (plus a year's worth of motivation to be healthy) is a win-win situation.
I have something to show you, Tracy...
And the worst part is, this picture was not taken at Disney World. No, my daughters were sitting on the curb in front of the Spanish Steps in Rome!
