With the DDP coming back there will be lots of swirl around what are the best bang (highest $$$) options for quick service meals. I have been scouring menus and there are very few options I have found that are more than $15 for an entrée. What other options are also out there?

There's a whole spreadsheet here (you have to scroll waaaaaay down) with the average CS credit value, and maximum CS credit value (meaning, what you'd spend for the most expensive entree+beverage) for each CS that participates in the DDP. While the fact that the maximums include drinks makes it hard to assess whether it's the entree or the drink that's driving up the cost, the list might help identify other restaurants to check). https://wdwprepschool.com/disney-world-dining/disney-dining-plan/

(FWIW, the places with the highest "maximum value" are as follows. I believe the prices include tax.) :)

Don't get food you don't really like to maximize dining credits. That makes it a waste of money. Eat what you like, if it's the most expensive, then it is. But don't go somewhere just "to get your money's worth". And remember, Disney wins nearly all the time, that is why they offer the dining plans.

The way I'm reading the OP, they are interested in finding the most cost effective QS meals. I think it's safe to assume that they enjoy the meals listed and aren't just purchasing something because of the price tag. Of course everything is overpriced, which is an even more important reason for people on a budget to seek out items that are more rewarding and/or filling so that you don't have to also purchase additional sides, snacks, etc.

  • Select quick service and table service restaurants may count as two credits.

Although Disney only mentions 2 QS credits for this:
Pizza Pickup
Stop by select Quick-Service locations to pick up a pizza meal, which includes:
  • 1 Large Pizza
  • 2 Single-serving Nonalcoholic Beverages (or Alcoholic Beverages, for Guests 21 and older)
Two Quick-Service meals will be redeemed for each Pizza Pick-up meal. Valid at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

Docking Bay 7, Geyser Point, and Satuli Canteen were all great uses of QS credits our last trip on the DDP, with high value and high quality options for carnivores and vegetarians alike. La Cantina was a good “value” but the food was meh. Was worth it for a seated, covered from the rain view of the Epcot nighttime show, though.

Is Geyser Point listed as a participating restaurant?

It's not on the website I linked (probably because it's not technically a TS or CS restaurant, but a lounge that happens to accept CS credits), but it's on the DDP list for 2024.

Actually it's in a list for 2023 Dining Plan. I'll assume it's a Disney typo.

Disney suggested some QS restaurants may be 2 credits and some menu items will have upcharges. We don't know if snacks will include extra or just whats on the list. In other words the comparisons posters are doing may be optimistic

Looks like guests should come out OK if they dine exclusively at Crystal Palace.

I actually found this to be an issue for me with the dining plan. The need to “get your money’s worth” felt like a pressure to get the expensive items on the menu, regardless of what i might prefer on a hot, Disney day

Did the math with today’s prices and where we plan to eat next trip and we would have to get alcohol every meal and most expensive stuff to come out ahead. MK doesn’t even have alcohol with quick service. Thing is I don’t like alcohol all that much and usually don’t want the most expensive meal though sometimes I do. I almost always get free ice water with meals. My daughter will be 20 most of next year so she couldn’t get alcohol at all. It just doesn’t work for us. We do eat a lot of quick service and only a few table service each trip so like usual the dining plan is not for us. We just buy gift cards to my calculated guess of what we will spend and use them.

100%.

According to MDE, Geyser Pt. is not on the QS dining plan now
