Hello. I want to sign up for Moonlight Magic at Epcot on April 30th. I already have a reservation made with resale points but am a blue card holder. I never got an email and can't find the link on the DVC website. The registration begins today at 11 EST. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance

The link was posted is this thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/april-moonlight-magic-emails.3963416/

Just an FYI, the link is currently broken. Hopefully it will be fixed before 11 am eastern.

I just talked to member services and they told me it was fine that there was no code needed. They said the website would refresh 10 to 15 minutes before 11 am and I'd be fine. I don't 100% buy that bc it was working earlier this morning and it's Disney IT but guess we'll see!

If anyone hears anything else please share.

It’s working now. Your code is your member id

Once the registration actually opened at 11, it seemed to go pretty quick My estimated wait time was 10 minutes and was just slightly longer. But I got my TL reservation for June 9.

I was coming here to see what folks’ experience was. We reserved the Epcot Moonlight Magic in about 3 minutes. I was shocked.

In addition to staying on points in April, we’re also staying onsite on an II exchange during the May Typhoon Lagoon event, and that’s the one I actually wanted- because in April we’re staying at BLT specifically to avail ourselves of MK Extended Evening Hours. I read in the past you could book MM early even on an II reservation if you are a DVC member. I’m not sure if things changed, or if I just couldn’t figure out how to do it.

But now that we got it, I’m thinking we might just go to the Epcot MM after all, and hit up MK EEH from Boulder Ridge and OKW in May. Not quite as lovely as doing it from BLT. But at least we’ll still have the opportunity.

I recall reading that rented reservations no longer qualify, so presumably whatever mechanism filters rentals out also filters out exchanges.

I can look this up but do I need to be staying at all to register on the non-early reservation date? I don’t know if perhaps I could try for TL for regular reg, and then give up my Epcot MM if I can get TL. I suspect it’s not possible without first giving up our Epcot MM reservation. Which I don’t want to do, given it’s a bird in the hand.

I was just reading in another thread how the most recent Epcot MM occurred during Lunar NY Festival and the vouchers couldn’t be used at the festival booths (which was part of the appeal for us). So now I’m back to wondering if I should just skip it in favor of MK EEH. I guess if that’s my thinking, I could just cancel Epcot and try for the TL event, what do I have to lose?

General registration doesn't require a room reservation, you just need to be eligible for membership extras.

That post was regarding a festival at Disney California Adventure, not Epcot.

At Epcot, we've been able to use vouchers at festival food booths at every MM that has occurred during a festival. The only issue is the festival food booths will close at 9 pm, so you need to use those vouchers early.

Whoops I missed that. We just moved east from Los Angeles. We have been to several DCA MM and you were never allowed to use snack vouchers at festival booths, to my recollection.

I hope nothing has changed for EPCOT. That is the reason I was wondering about the most recent Animal Kingdom Moonlight Magic event. (My question was--were the coupons at the AK event the same as always?)

Last year, we were allowed to order from the festival booths at DCA. But, more than than last year we could order snacks under a certain dollar amount at all the places that were open in the park. It was quite a shock when we tried to redeem the coupons and found out that there were limited to only the items listed on the coupon--mostly just water and sodas. (Also, a few limited snacks such as popcorn and pretzels, but the fine print was so small I had trouble reading it :) --we finally took a photo of it so we could make the print larger).

No change in where the snack coupons could be used at the most recent DAK MM event.

Did anyone get MM who has a blue card, but was staying on resale DVC points?
