Magic 8 balls are more useful than crowd calendars in this day and age. Ignoring them and having a plan that is crowdproof instead is a better use of your energy than worrying about vaguely defined arbitrary numbers being correct or not tbh.
After many a MK EEH I have found that starting in Adventureland is usually the best move. Those attractions have far lower waits at the start of the evening than most anything else on the right side of the park, because nobody’s jumping in line for Pirates 2 min before park close the way they are for the likes of Tron and Mine Train. Getting that stuff done first will let the day crowd lines cycle through on the other side of the park and they’ll be long gone by the time you work your way over there.
We were very successful doing this with a later arrival for MK EEH back in September on our arrival day. While Sept is generally slow, the usual nonparty day dynamics spiked crowds. The only difference is we weren’t coming in straight from the airport (we arrived in the morning) and were staying at GF. But we had a light dinner at the resort and walked over to MK at around 9:30ish after watching fireworks from GF. Waits were a tad high for my liking so we started with the Tiki Room to let folk filter out. By the time we got out of the show EEH had just officially started and everything on that side of the park was a walk on. In 2 hours we got a truly absurd amount of rides done by starting there. Heavy hitters too—Pirates, Big Thunder, Mansion, Pan, etc. So much that when we went back on that Friday on a party day to finish up, we mostly saw shows before hopping over to HS.
Tron will still have an inflated posted wait time at the end of EEH but don’t let it fool you. We saved it for the very end of the night, when it was posted 50 and the actual wait was more like 7-10. Same with Mine Train just before it, which was maybe 10-15 of actual waiting, if that. They pull the same tricks to get people out as they do during normal hours.
