Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns in 2022!!!

I booked online for the Very Merriest After Hours the day they were released early for resort guests last August, so I’m really hoping we can for these tickets too! It was very quick and easy, especially compared to how rough it sounded calling for the Boo Bash tickets.

Oh, and I received my confirmation email at 6:23 am, so they must have opened at 6:00 eastern time.

How far ahead can you do park reservations? I thought it was 60 days but I must be wrong!?
I believe park reservations are based on the ticket dates, we have park reservations for first week of Oct. WDW website shows park reservations until Jan. 18, 2024

Should be no problem, the capacity of the parties is significantly higher than an After Hours (maybe 3 or more times as many attendees?). Unlike Boo Bash, I don't see MNSSHP selling out some nights ion the first day, but I do expecttickets will sell faster than pre-pandemic.

There is no limit. If you have valid tickets linked for the days, you can currently book into early 2024.

I book ours as soon as I book our package, then I change them as much as needed afterwards.

Any predictions on which Party crowd levels would be lower Friday the 2nd vs Monday the 5th (Labor Day?) I feel like the 5th would be a better bet bc it’s the end of the Holiday weekend and kids have school the next day, but then again I thought that when we did Boo Bash on a Sunday and it was PACKED with kids.

Does anyone know if the multi party pass will be available? I seem to remember they had one back in 2019

In years past did they also do a party on the Sunday before Labor Day? We take a long weekend and was hoping to do two parties Friday night and sunday…

Me too. Last year I went on Friday and Sunday. I was really disappointed to see that Sunday wasn't an option this year. I fly in Thursday night and leave on Monday afternoon. I work in a school and we start the day after Labor Day. So really hope I get tickets to the Friday party.

You mean the Sunday during Labor Day weekend? Never for MNSSHP. Disney parks like to get "two Saturdays" out of most 3-day weekends.

2019 - Labor Day Saturday and Monday
2018 - Labor Day Friday and Monday
2017 - Labor Day Friday only
2016 - Labor Day Friday only (first party that year)
2015 and before - parties started mid-Sept.

Last year they did for Boo Bash, but that was an After Hours, and parks didn't close early (or, more accurately, they closed early most days anyway).

I have a park reservation for MK on August 12th. Are there any opening parades or shows that I'd be able to linger in the park to see around 7:00 and then leave?

No, they are very efficient at steering the day guests out, even from Main Street. There isn’t a lot of lingering on party days.

And, in 2019, they starting closing the MK one hour before the parties to allow more transition time. If the party starts at 7pm, expect the parks official closing time to be 6pm.

Disney takes this very seriously to the point that they actually moved all those events to late enough there would be no way to linger.

They start closing lands to folks without party bands, even escorting you to the next land towards the front if you aren't moving that way. They will refuse to let you in a land not on the way to the front of the park - I've even seen people saying they have to get their kids to which CMs tell them they will meet them out front.

They start closing entry to stores and food locations to anyone not wearing a party band. They won't service you.

They start guarding bathrooms and refusing entry to anyone not wearing a party band. I've seen it many times. They will tell you there are bathrooms right outside the front gate. They have found people like to try to hide in there and then sneak into the party.

If you are in a restaurant dining that your dinner moves over into party time it is not unusual for CMs to escort you to the gate after.

CMs work very hard to clear the park, just plan your day accordingly, hop over to another park and enjoy that.

We are going down in September and our group has 2 rooms with 2 different reservation numbers but we are linked in family and friends so I can see them on our scheduled park days. If I try to buy tickets on the 12th (via phone only for resort guests I assume) for the party can I buy tickets for everyone...or at least the ones that want to go? Will I need to give their resort confirmation as well as my own in order to buy the correct number of tickets? Just trying to see if one of us can do it all at once or if someone from each room has to call.

I've done multiple parties and after-hours events in the past, in multiple room situations, and have been able to purchase tickets for everyone at one time.

With ticket sales opening up next week for hotel guest, can you buy more tickets for MNSSHP then you have reservations. I have 2 people including myself in my room, am i only allowed to buy 2 tickets for the party or can I buy more like 4 ?

This is exactly what I was looking for to plan out October trip. We can book on May 12th but our trip isn't 100% so don't want to pay if we aren't going. It appears we have some time to purchase.
Who knows in 2022. It looks like, in 2019, none of the August or early Sept dates sold out. This is from the official thread, showing sold out dates with parentheses of when they sold out.

Sold Out Dates: 9/22 (9/22), 9/27 (9/24), 9/29 (9/25), 10/1 (9/28), 10/8 (10/7), 10/10 (10/8), 10/11 (10/8), 10/14 (10/13), 10/17 (10/17), 10/24 (10/19), 10/25 (10/24), 10/31 (10/8), 11/1 (10/29 )

The price of the Halloween party ticket counts as your admission, correct? Unless I don’t want to enter the park prior to 4pm that day I do not need a separate park admission to go? We are planning a 10/28-11/1 mini trip with 3 days in the parks. So I would only need 2 park tickets plus the add-on of the Halloween party tickets? Does this sound correct? Thanks in advance, sorry never been to one of these parties before
