They explain it like this:
At Walt Disney World,
Disney PhotoPass Service takes your pictures and
Memory Maker is one of your options to pay for them.
Memory Maker is a package they offer so you can download them without watermarks -
- Memory Maker One Day includes all your photos and videos from one day of your choosing.
- Memory Maker includes all your photos and videos from your vacation. Save $25 when you purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days prior to your visit.
You can add other things on too, like buy a hardcopy of your photos on a thumb-drive, or buy a ‘Capture your Moment’ photo session but you’ll still also need paid access to download those photos.
It can be confusing especially as it keeps getting more complicated.
The ability to download the photos used to come with APs but is now sold separately at a reduced price. The AP add-on package they call Photopass. If you buy the 1 day, 1 trip, or MMB package, they call those Memory Maker. Sometimes it is redundant and already included with something else, like our
Jollywood Nights tickets included all the downloads that evening, the special in-park shots and the effects in the App. But there’s still other things that nobody gets unless you buy LLs that day.
I love the pictures we’ve collected over the years so still willing to buy it even if confusing lol.
