March 2025 Refurbishments

Disneyland

The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln: 4/16/2024 through 5/15/2025. Reopens on May 16 2025 for Disneyland’s 70th.

Meet Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow: 9/15/24 through March 2 2025. It seems Disneyland keeps extending the refurb.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe: 1/7/25 to ???.

it's a Small World Holiday closes on Tuesday 1/21. 1/21/25 to ???
Small World is expected to open during Spring 2025. I expect the refurb to last 8 to 12 weeks minimum.

Disneyland Monorail closes on 1/6/25 for refurbishment. 1/16/25 to 3/6/25. Reopens 3/7/25.

Disneyland Railroad closes on 1/13/25 for refurbishment. 1/13/25 to 3/6/25. Reopens 3/7/25.

California Adventure

Grizzly River Run: 1/6/25 to 3/13/25. Reopens March 14.

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail: 2/17/25 to ???.

Guardians of the Galaxy: 3/10/25 to ???.

The Pools at the Pixar Place Hotel have been closed since mid-January and are still closed through 3/2/25 (and likely beyond).

Storytellers Cafe will be closed beginning on March 3, 2025 through at least March 28, 2025. This is for a refurb and I expect it will be a few weeks.

This list will be updated accordingly as new information becomes available.
Thanks.

Peter Pan and Matterhorn showing "No times available" starting March 2nd.
Ok. Agreed but Tiana, Pirates and Space are also listed with no times available. The website is showing a lot of attractions with no times available right now. Might be DL website problem.

Wow that's a lot, I hope they're just having issues right now. I've been specifically checking Peter Pan and Matterhorn because I've heard they may be going down soon but I doubt they'd have all of those down at once.

I think they are having issues....when I tried to access opening times for several attractions...website was showing error message we are working on it.

I've been much quieter on these boards the past few months because of work, life, and trying to wrap my head around a short trip to WDW in March (I think you need a masters degree to understand it all)!

Is Redwood Creek closing for yet another multi month refurb? What is going on over there after the extensive refurb last year?

I have no idea what Redwood Creek's refurb is about. It has been refurbed so much in the past few years.

Seems like they did nothing during most of the recent refurbs. I’m thinking it’s just a temporarily closure (so they don’t have to staff and maintain it) dressed up as a refurb.

I've heard rumors Indy might be getting some more love as well, so it could go down before the 70th as well but we will see

Lots of rumors but we’re almost in February. Crowds typically pick uo late next month during spring break kick off. Hard to imagine all these rumors will come to fruitarian, given the number of ongoing projects.

It is...and isn't

Disney last year had lots of rides down in the summer...so I just don't think they care much. If people are willing to pay they will keep this up because why not...money talks

I can recall only the Canoes and Winnie The Poo being closed last summer. Poo was an extended closure due to Tiana’s construction. Not sure why the closed the Canoes down during peak summer. I haven’t experienced that attraction since the 1990s. Frankly I’m surprised they haven’t shuttered it, like WDW did theee decades ago.

Space Mountain closed in August. The OCR reported the early refurb was due to the number of attractions going down in September (long term) So maybe Disney does care.

The train was down..the monorail went down...Lincoln was down...HM was down

I'm sure I'm missing a few but it was more then a handful of rides were down last summer

The train and monorail didn’t go down until after the summer. Good call on Lincoln and Haunted Mansion, but those are long term projects not routine refurbs.

The monorail is showing as open on March 6th. Nothing for the train yet though. Are you all having a hard time accessing the calendar? I keep getting the seven dwarfs "We're working on it" page when I try to access dates in March.

The App has the Monorail open on March 6th. I cannot the calendar for 3/6 on the DL website.
