There were a bunch of empty buses driving past the rD stop at Saratoga, plus several waiting at the stop. My bus left at 2:53

i counted 6 here at the Swan. Left at 3. Of course already second guessing not driving!

There's a timing chip table in the family area but they wouldn't let me go through with my bib number. Saying they wouldn't be able to fix it

I did not get an email, and I do usually get runDisney emails. I have Dopey bibs that were picked up before 4pm.

Regarding the bibs, I don't know what everyone else's email looked like, but I intepretend it as any bibs issued before 4pm 1/9 is suspected of having a bad chip.

This is still so confusing to me because aren’t the chips already attached to the bibs when you pick them up?

I picked mine up before the time mentioned and haven’t gotten an email.

Edit: I don’t know why I’m awake so early and I’m not even running. Solidarity?

I guess they can stick replacement tags to bibs?

Chip and Dale, Dopey, ???? as photo ops. Line for Dopey isn’t that bad so I’m doing that now.

It's a specific range of bib numbers. They knew immediately just looking at my number that I was OOL.

Going into bag check they were checking bib numbers and sending some to have their chip checked.

Just talked to a lady at gear check who is directing Dopey runners with bibs 26xxx-281xx for a chip check, not sure what they’re doing but sounds like that’s the bad batch.

Chip check was super easy. Took about a minute. They just attached a new one to the bib.

Bag check also much easier than yesterday. More trucks open.

I picked up after 4 pm yesterday, and got the email. I asked this morning about my marathon bib. Apparently my 10k bib fell in the range, and probably the marathon one.
I was told to either visit the expo to swap my marathon bib, or to come early Sunday. Not worried about today’s time, but will let yall know if it works.

Characters so far: girl chipmunk, 3 little pigs, mad hatter, ugly duckling or Clara cluck, and mice from Cinderella (its girls right now, not sure if switching with boys) That’s a lot for the first 2 miles

I was flying from the UK yesterday so missed most of the bib-gate yesterday so just catching up.

I’m due to pick up mine later today and haven’t had an email, but I’ve not actually had ANY emails from RD since my confirmation email when I booked last April.

Is it worth still double checking there’s no issues when I pick it up later rather than just expect them to have double checked for me?
