Has anyone ever eaten at Maggianos Little Italy Restaurant in Orlando? Good?? Prices?

We have one here. I've never been personally, but a friend of mines has and she says it's really good. She said that dinner for 2 may cost about $50-$60.

I've eaten at several of the ones here in the Chicago area. I'm assuming the food is the same at all of them, which is pretty good. It's kind of a family style dining, if you want. In other words, their portions are quite large. So when it's DH and I, and we go with my parents, we usually only order 3 things, not 4. I like their food, we go about 2-3 times a year I'd say.

I can't say for sure if the prices are the same here as there, but it's not "cheap." Nothing outrageous, but we usually spend about $50 when it's DH & I with our 2 kids.

I really like their food, but we only get a good value if we can take the leftovers home. So we get the family style meal and then bring home the leftovers to eat as a second whole meal the next day. Even the first portion that we get of each course is enough for leftovers (you can get unlimited refills of the family style as well if you want). So we might spend $75, but we get at least a full dinner and a lunch out of it...if not two dinners.

My family loves this restaurant. We always do family style (minimum 4 people). It is not cheap but you get 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 2 pastas, 2 main coarses and 2 desserts. These are the number of choices and you can get unlimited refills. The food is much better quality than most chain Italian restaurants, more in line with some finer but not finest restaurants.

The food is good there, large portions, you definetly can split a meal. If you got to their website and sign up your email address they'll send you a coupon through email for a free appetizer. I used mine about a month ago...nothing wrong with a freebie!:cool1:

Defiently share all of the chicken dishes come with 3 cutlets. Also, you can get a side of pasta with it for $3 more. My kids and I usually split a meal and then my husband orders something. Plenty of food for the 4 of us and our bill is around $50 and that is with a dessert. I consider them a more of an upscale italian restaurant. family style will run you about $29 per adult and $10 for the kids. they also take reservations so, if you plan on going during a popluar time I would reccomend a reservation.

I really like this restaurant chain, but have not eaten in the Orlando venue. They are all pretty much the same. HUGE portions. For 2 people if you order a half salad and an entree, you will have plenty. Prices are good for the quality and quantity. Entrees are 14-16 ish.

The food is awesome! We've been there a couple of times and its one of my hubby's faves!

The Maggiano's I used to go to had half portions--which were more "normal" sized portions.

Been to the one in Jacksonville - we thought it was overpriced compared to other Italian places that serve the same quality food, our service was not great, and of all things they were out of spoons! We had to eat our dessert - which included ice cream - with forks! The food was good, I just didn't think it was worth the price when I can get the same meal cheaper at a dozen other places in town with just as nice or nicer atmosphere. It was very loud inside that night.

Have eaten at several, not in FL as we have them here, but I really love it. Very good food, lots of variety, portions that weigh as much as I do. Gotta love leftovers the next day!

I don't think they're that expensive, and I'm pretty cheap. Esp when you can make 2-3 meals out of it.

Does the coupon for a free appetizer have an expiration date on it?

Mine did, but I think it expires a certain amount of time after you sign up and they email you one, I don't think it's a set date for everyone.

I love Maggianos so much I had my reception there! Well, in Dallas, not Orlando :) I think Maggiano's is an excellent value for the food you get. DH and I go whenever we're in Dallas and share a half order of Caesar salad and a half order of Rigatoni D (pasta...soooooo good!), plus we split their FREAKIN' AWESOME tiramisu. It's plenty of food. We end up very full on very good food for only about $25 (before tax, tip and drinks).

I also love their cheesecake and black currant iced tea.

People still talk about all the food at my wedding...none of that bland hotel chicken! Everyone had to roll out of there. ;)

LOVE this restaurant!

We first ate there on a 'date' for Valentine's Day. The food was amazing especially since it's a chain restaurant.

I love everything I've tried so far. The steak, the asparagus and the creme brulee. YUM!

I think it's a great value for the price.

I have eaten at the one in Orlando and the one in Boston. I just ate at the Orlando one a few weeks ago. It was divine! Prices are comparable with a "good" italian resteraunt. (Veal dishes 18+, chicken dishes 15+ and pastas 12+). I had the veal picatta and it was to die for! The appetizers are fresh, the breads are good etc.

I was at a conference so my Boss and I went after I suggested it. I had been many times to the one in Boston and was pleased to see they built one in Orlando. I left the next day and she wasn't leaving for another day. She went back to the resteraunt the next night, it was that good!

We loved the atmosphere and service but the food was mediocre at best and the prices out of this world. I would not return, but the experience was overall enjoyable

Maggianos is one of my favorites! I highly suggest going for happy hour. Premium drinks are only $3 and if you sit in the bar you can get great appetizers for $2-$5 and split with a big group. I have always thought it was high quality food for a great price.

I am thinking of getting take out there and bring it back to our timeshare to eat. If the portion are big I probably will not have to order 6 dinners for the 6 of us.
